Beautiful building and host. Breakfast was simple but lovely and fresh with the most amazing homemade Jams. Set in such a quiet and peaceful location. A hidden gem.

Our stay in Capestang could not have been nicer!

Very comfortable and quiet. Conveniently located for canal and town centre restaurants. Secure parking. Superb continental breakfast in pretty courtyard. Wonderfully hospitable owners.

Nothing - all was perfect!

Everything was amazing. The room size was enormous! Owners were a lovely young family and very friendly and helpful. We stayed the night before collecting a boat to travel the Canal Du Midi. They let us keep the room until we had done a shop for our supplies for our trip. The breakfast provided was fantastic and extensive- cereal, breads, meats, jams etc. If we do the Canal Du Midi again- we will definitely be back!

This was our third stay. New proprietor but still same friendly welcome and substantial breakfast. Booked a taxi on our behalf to get us to our next stop as our feet were to sore to walk.

Great place to stay, with an excellent breakfast. Very lovely host. Close to Canal du midi and the centre which a few restaurants, bakery etcetera.

I do prefer a standing shower. The shower-in-bath was lovely, but a bracket to allow a standing shower would be a simple and welcome addition.

The hostess has gone to great lengths to prepare a room that reflects a high standard. Her level of service is very personal and very considerate. She took extra care to make sure my needs were met.

Big, well equipped room with a lovely bathroom. We had the room with the bathtub which was heaven after a long day on the bicycle. The friendly host welcomed us with a drink on arrival and gave us recommendations for things to see and places to eat in town. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.

I was in a large room which was good. However, it was the only room available on booking dot com and was a corner bath only. This meant sitting on the corner of the bath and spraying oneself with the shower head. A curtain and bracket on the wall would do wonders for this bathroom. The bath towels could also be sold as sandpaper but I guess ex-foliating the skin every day is good for you. The room is quite dark. It is in a courtyard and not facing the sun at any time of day - you always need to turn on the lights. The owner and friends congregated at the breakfast table and chatted into the evening but to be fair, they did stop by 11pm. Also, in an ironic twist, the rooms are non-smoking but that doesn't stop the smell of the owners copious cigarettes wafting into the room. I believe this property is about to change hands so perhaps it will be different.

The size of the room is very large. There is air conditioning in the room. The property is well-placed in Capestang. You can walk to everything although the town is a bit limited in restaurants.
