Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe isolation between the rooms could be better but I appreciate it is difficult in a building of this age.
Charming 400 year old building, extremely central, we were able to walk everywhere and didn’t need to use the metro or cabs. The hotel owners are exceptional and go above and beyond to ensure that your stay at the hotel is just perfect. The beds are super comfortable and good quality linen and towels. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Paris. Thank you to the whole Baudelaire team!

United KingdomSlightly larger room but I know space is a premium in France and it was adequate for us for three nights , hotel itself and staff we’re lovely and would return
Lovely little hotel great area staff very friendly, room clean and adequate but a little small but ok for three nights I am fairly claustrophobic but I managed well ( large opening windows onto a great balcony) would stay again so that says it all

NetherlandsThe location could hardly get any better, and although the room was small - as expected in this part of the city, the beds were one of the best I've ever experienced.

United States of AmericaPer the usual, the Booking.com rooms are usually the odd and least desirable rooms from the hotel. Our room was cute & clean, but it had a spiral staircase in the middle of it. Our bed was upstairs and the bathroom, closet and luggage areas were down the winding staircase. Very unusual, kinda interesting, but loudly creaky and dangerous for a middle of the night bathroom run as well as for getting ready. And if you were older, you would have been in trouble!! The sofa in the room was old and ripped. The safe didn't lock. The room was loud. A family was either staying or living around us and we could hear everything from the kids throwing fits to their pounding feet and the parents yelling at them. For what we received, we felt the room was expensive.
We did not partake of the breakfast. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the Opera Rossey bus stop that comes from the airport, as well as the Louvre and Muse d'Orsay, and near lots of restaurants as well as metro station/bus stop. The room was clean. There was someone at the front desk 24/7 (which is typical for Paris as you have to give them your room key when you leave the hotel.) The room was clean and the cement walls were covered in a fun and different Parisian fabric.

United States of AmericaThe decoration was not great, things were clean but needed a facelift. But for €100 a night, the bed was comfortable, the staff terrific and the location just what we needed.
Great location just off the passage Choisseul. Great value for the price, a friend commented her small Parisian apartment cost more per night. Well located between the Opera and the Palais Royal. Some wonderful Asian restaurants in this neighborhood. Could walk to the train station after our stay.

SwedenIt's a bit run down and you can hear the people in the other rooms but the hospitality-Price and Location is so great that overpowers these nuisances. Next time, I'll bring earplugs to sleep.
The staff is so welcoming and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the location was excellent. They really make you feel at home. Their English is great and will definitely book it again and recommend it to friends

One of the best deals in terms od price\location in Paris. Nice and friendly personal. Clean sheets. What else do you need? 7 minutes to Louvre by foot!

IrelandThe hotel is at a great location. David, Alice, Juliette and Laura are all incredible hosts at the hotel. They are friendly and go out of their way to help you. As a solo traveller, I felt safe staying by myself as well. As an added bonus, there are some great Asian places in the street which were amazing. Overall, good stay!
