Breakfast was baguette, croissant, and orange juice - they were all excellent, but it would have been good to have more choice. No gluten-free options were available even though requested on booking.

Gorgeous historic hotel in the centre of the old town. It's in a busy area right next to the cathedral but was still quiet and peaceful overnight. We had a super dinner in the restaurant. Our room was tiny but had everything we needed.

The breakfast was very bad! Half a baguette and a cup of coffee is the very bare minimum to eat considering how excellent the restaurant, dinner, is. I believe prisoners get more for breakfast than we did.

We liked the ambiance, service at dinner was wonderful, the room was very clean, the location could not have been better and the history of the building was unique and mesmerizing!

Being at the top of the building the room was badly ventilated and the air con not great.

Fantastic location and steeped in history. Quirky, comfortable loft room in very old building. The restaurant is fabulous.

Maison Kammerzell is a wonderful historical building right next to the cathedral. It has lots of history displayed throughout the hallways. Where else can you say that you slept in a building originally built in the 15th century?

Constant noise in bedroom throughout the night (pipes/air conditioning?) Breakfast offer not quite as advertised on website: no charcuterie nor cheese, just bread, jam, one danish, and coffee.

Beautiful building and surroundings. Right by the cathedral.

For location, this hotel is unsurpassed. Literally next door to the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, it is close to all amenities. Beautifully restored and maintained and clean. Rooms are small in keeping with the period. Note:- If arriving during the Christmas markets period, remember the road closures into the old town. If you arrive of depart after 11am you will need to transport your own luggage about 800m .

if you expect a normal hotel, you would be disappointed. However, we were only there one night and the room was spotless, there were teas and coffees and cookies along with the ability to make a hot drink, lots of necessities in the bathroom and an air conditioner so there really is nothing wrong with the hotel

this is an excellent location right at the center of the old town next to the cathedral so you can easily get around the old town, get to the train station in under 20 minutes walking and get to the Orangerie park within 30 to 35 minutes walking. It is perfectly positioned. With that said, it is like an old fashioned Inn with the emphasis placed on the restaurant although the rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. There was even a small air conditioner and a fan for when the heat wave hit Europe. there are beams splitting the room and the bathroom which add to the enjoyment of the hotel. But it is not a traditional hotel. You are not going to have someone at the front desk, but somebody who works in the restaurant taking care of you simultaneously. Not a problem for us but it might be a problem if you expect a Hotel

Lack of power points.. only had one in the room to charge 2 phones. Breakfast was very basic - would have expected to have ceral on offer or maybe even an egg.

Location and history are very impressive. For such an old building it is in remarkable condition.

The windows didn't do much against the noise outside. In the evening there are the people going to the many bars and restaurants outside, so it is noisy until late, and early in the morning there's again noise. The room was okay but could use some renovation.

The hotel is a historic building from the 16th century, thus it has a lot of charme. It is directly on the place of the cathedral, thus couldn't be more central.

Beautiful historical building and early afternoon check-in time. We were the first up for breakfast in the morning, which gave us a great chance to see all old murals covering the dining hall walls. We could put our bikes in a storage hall accessible only to staff.
