With young children we found the 10 min walk uphill was a bit tiring. There are free shuttles from the centre which helps.

Charming staff, clean rooms (spacious family room, with 2 bathrooms), nice downstairs space to relax in the evening. Nice buffet for breakfast with gorgeous view on the mountains

The heated towel rail opposite toilet, no extractor fan in shower, the mould in wardrobe, questionable whether room was big enough for family room and no tea making facilities.

There is no restaurant at the Beaulieu, this said the restaurant at the Carlina is good but a little pricey. The pool temperature was on the cold side

The hotel is located very near the centre within walking distance to the slopes. Reception staff very helpful Great breakfast including local cheeses and cured meat, good variety of bread and pastries Parking on the premises

The room had an overpowering smell of tobacco smoke and the bed was very low and uncomfortable. The rooms really need updating. Expensive for what we were given. Also the photos on the web are of the more upto date hotel next door which is slightly misleading. Beaulieu deco needs updating.

Breakfast was lovely. Staff were polite and friendly.

Taking a room with balcony, you have the view over the village and the mountain range beyond. Leaving the balcony door ajar, you have the relaxing sound of the cowbells in the morning. No need for an alarm call. You know you are in the Alps and life is cool!

Drinks at the bar were the same price as on the mountain - EUR 10 for a G&T!

After taking a late flight from London to Geneva, we arrived just after midnight - the staff had kindly left our keys in envelopes on the reception desk (as promised). Our rooms were clean and comfy, and breakfast was more than adequate to fuel us for a day on the slopes (I'm told the chocolate croissant were excellent!). Great arrangement with a local sports shop meant that we could leave our skis and ski boots in town thus saving us from lugging our equipment from the hotel to the lift every day (approximately a 10 minute walk downhill in the mornings but uphill in the afternoons!). We thought the hotel was well-located for bars and places to eat in the evenings.

The breakfast room was packed with guests, tables are too close together, and the staff did not manage to clean the tables. A disturbing mess! The rooms are very small. The lounge looks worn out.

Possibility to store ski equipment closer to the lifts in the centre of the town. Although the rooms are very small, they are nicely refurbished. The choice on the breakfast buffet is good! Good croissants!!

The spa set up was a little odd with the relaxation beds right next to the gym and open windows into swimming pool. Had a massage which was ok, receptionist tried to charge me for spa visit as well despite agreeing when I booked that I could use the spa afterwards for an hour (it's usually an hour before but there wasn't time before the appointment). Left a bad taste after a relaxing couple of hours.

Clean and cosy. Showers were new and powerful, great views over the slopes. The reception area was large with comfy seats, a small bar and table football and pool to keep us entertained. The swimming pool at the sister hotel was well maintained and a nice place to relax. Breakfast was good with lots of choice including fresh fruit and all very tasty.

Lovely bilingual staff, pretty room ( ok a little small but perfectly big enough) and lovely decor throughout the hotel. Modern bathroom. The most amazing breakfast. Allow yourself plenty of time and appetite - exceptional quality and variety of food. Location 5 mins walk from centre and you can store your skis by the lift in sport 2000 who give a 10% discount. Will definitely return. We didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked superb. ( don't miss restaurant "cordee ". superb)

Rooms were very small and sound does travel from one of the neighbouring rooms. This isn't a ski in/out hotel. Ski lifts are about a 10 minute walk away. Worth leaving skis in centre of town overnight so you don't have to carry back up the hill to the hotel

Comfortable rooms, good size balcony, clean bathrooms with great shower and friendly staff. Access to Swimming pool in the adjacent Carlina Hotel. Good value for money.
