How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very nicely renovated. Small but comfy rooms. The spa was a extra bonus. The hotel offered a complimentary transfer from the airport, very appreciated. The breakfast was more than standard french breakfast and if felt nice to be able to take thing from the refrigirator yourself (a home away from home feeling). The staff was very helpful and very serviceminded. We love to come back.

The property was superb!!! The rooms where beautiful i loved the design and the place was spotless,always!!! The reception employees are so nice and i loved the warm treatment. I would return everytime im in Paris. Bravo!!!!

It was great, the staff was lovely and helpful and extremely kind. I was there on my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me comfortable and feel celebrated. Extremely sweet and will stay there again.
The room was lovely and cozy. They're small, but its Paris ! I loved the hammam and enjoyed taking advantage on a cold day.

Excellent location (but still very calm and quiet), very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable, well decorated and relatively spacious rooms, excellent spa offering, and a lovely little cocktail bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for more at this price.

Rooms (ours was a "Double room - Superior") are small, even taking into account that rooms in Paris overall tend to be small. With two people, and luggage, we felt crowded. Room safe isn't large enough to accomodate a laptop. Need more and better placed power outlets for phones, laptops, etc. Lack of shelving or space in bathroom for toiletries.
Freshly renovated and very well-run hotel. Staff were excellent. Appreciated the breakfast and especially the level of cleanliness.

The room was fashionable but very small. There was no floor space and we were tripping over our luggage.
Absolutely loved this hotel! The design was shabby chic and adorable. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

When checking out, we were told we had "scorched" the ceiling. The housekeeper had taken a picture of a spot on the ceiling and shared it with the front desk. Upon looking at the picture & going up to the hotel room, what was on the ceiling was paint peeling off with the old paint underneath. After a great, stay, this was very frustrating to deal with as we were checking out. If the hotel management would have investigated the picture from housekeeping, they would have seen that there was paint chipping that needed touched up by maintenance. We didn't appreciate the surprise upon checkout--this should have been brought to our attention the day before when our hotel room was cleaned, not at check out. Upon discussion, the hotel staff did apologize for their error which was appreciated. Therefore, I would say, if staying at this hotel, take a picture of ALL imperfections in the room & make management aware of them at check in--so you don't have to deal with any surprises when you leave.
Loved the decor and comfort of the hotel. The location was very convenient to many restaurants and shops. It was nice to also have adjoining rooms for our party of 3. The rooms were very small, however, very nice.

I used to live in Paris in my 20s and this hotel gives me back the feeling of being a local - cute interior, perfect and cool location, le Marais in walking distance. Well connected as well with the metro and buses. Reception is 24/7 so you also feel super safe even as a solo traveller. Went there twice and will go again soon!
