We had breakfast away from the hotel. There are plenty of great patisserie and restaurants on the hotels doorstep. They upgraded us and we chose a downstairs room.

The location is excellent, parking was easy to find, and right out the back door is everything you want in Amboise! We had a terrace suite, which was wonderful and had covered and uncovered places to sit outside. Breakfast was excellent for a good value.

New ZealandThe superior room is written as having Loire or Chateau view. Yes our room faced the Loire but immediately onto the road ramp to the bridge so particularly unpleasant view and noisy with traffic. The room was also the smallest and most expensive we had during our 9 nights in the Loire.
The location is excellent, helpful, good bike storage, very good breakfast.
