A very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay, with very friendly and pleasant hosts.

This is not by any means a complaint - the weather was very hot, and air-conditioning would have been very welcome. However, there were very effective shutters so that the room could be protected from the sun.

The management and staff were extremely pleasant, thoughtful, and polite. On two occasions, the manager gave us lifts, as we were finding it difficult to get a taxi. The hotel house-keeping was excellent - everything was so immaculately clean. Very nice breakfast buffet served in a beautiful setting. Towels were changed daily as a matter of course.

Breakfast room a little on the small size, but no real problem.

Central position in Bailleul with very good parking facilities. Very nice, comfortable room. Management came to the rescue at the end of our stay, when a Taxi was not available for a local destination.

Although we were advised checkin time we were unprepared for the hotel to be closed and locked in the afternoon. We had walked 20km and had to hide our packs in the car park before going off to wait in a bar.

Very handy to centre of the town

Location and parking perfect for war commemorative visit.

We were there from 3-6 June over a long holiday weekend and everything was closed apart from the 'fritterie' and a very accommodating little bar across road from it which allowed us to eat our takeaways there. It would help if reception informed guests of these things! Coffee and milk was not replenished on public holiday.

The room was clean and reception, when there, pleasant. Parking is spacious and secure. An easy drive to Steenwerck, Passchendaele and Iepers where we were attending 100 year war commemorations.

The page on Booking.Com said there was only one room left, and that was an expensive one. Decided to go for it and the room and facilities were very good but the hotel was empty, so why weren't cheaper rooms available?

Very comfortable room, secure car parking.

The town itself is pretty dull we have only found one restaurant reliably open on our numerous visits but for a travelling stop off you cannot complain.

The staff / owners are very helpful and accommodating. Tea and coffee making in the room most welcome also celebrations chocs a nice thought. The breakfast is very good.

Didn't replenish tea/milk in the rooms - we had to request additional tea bags each day. Could of had a bit more selection for breakfast, not sure why raw eggs rather than hard boiled were supplied???

Fantastic location close to centre of village, very easy to find. Helpful staff.

I wanted to stay in Ypres area but hotels were full. This wasn't too far away and not far off the highway. It had a private parking lot. Good restaurants weren't far away. Nice grounds. Nice area for a walk. Very pleasent and helpful woman behind the desk.
