Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

We stayed at this hotel during a stopover and were pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience was. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long journey. We especially appreciated the stylish touches throughout the property, the lobby and restaurant have a modern, chic design that adds to the overall atmosphere. The hotel has variety of bars and restaurants nearby, offering plenty of choice without even having to drive. That said, the location is also excellent, as the city centre is just a short distance away, making it convenient for exploring. Overall, it’s a great option for both a quick stopover or a longer stay. Warm service, great facilities, and a touch of style. Highly recommended!

United KingdomThe restaurant in the hotel is over priced and the service, whilst staff are helpful and pleasant, were not organised enough for serving our meal in a timely manner. We waited nearly an hour between starter and mains and by that time had lost our appetite. There was no communication or apologies until we chased and complained and we were not the only ones with this problem and the restaurant was only 1/4 full if that. It was incredibly expensive for what it was, my advice if you’re on a budget is to look elsewhere close by as there are plenty of options. We’d been travelling for over 12 hours so wanted easy but in hindsight would have still been better to go and get food elsewhere. Breakfast, whilst food was good was also chaotic. Plenty of staff around but not checking plates, cups, etc needing replenishment and many standing in their preparation room chatting rather than making sure breakfast was efficient, having to ask someone to supply more bowls and plates is quite frustrating as it’s a basic need.
The location of the property a few minutes from motorway really convenient. Located near plenty of facilities for takeout and fuel. The property had plenty of free parking and the rooms all clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast food, mixture of cooked and continental all tasty with good variety including fruit, yogurt, cereals, bread, cheese, egg and bacon as well as croissants. Teas, coffees and juices also plenty of. The staff were all pleasant.

Close to the motorway, plenty of parking (but a bit fiddly to find the car park), clean comfortable rooms. Dinner was excellent, breakfast good as well.

Isle of ManNot a criticism but I’d say it’s a typical modern business oriented hotel and I prefer more relaxed country style Only issue was the steak in our evening meal though superbly cooked wasn’t great quality. Rest of the meal was great.
Good location close to motorway and with easy free parking. Golf course next door though we just had an overnight stay Restaurant on site with good menu and wine list Good clean comfortable reasonably big room

Excellent location for travelling between the alps and England - just of the Autoroute. The pool was a lovely bonus. The restaurant was superb (if not a touch expensive), and well worth using if you have the opportunity. The breakfast was also good - a self service buffet with lots of options. The standard rooms were generous in size with comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms. The staff were also very friendly.

United KingdomThe 22kw chargers were impossible to get set up. Took us ages before we gave up and parked in one of the fast charger bays (which worked brilliantly)
Clean. Good facilities including a pool and next to a golf club (not sure if it's open to the general public though). EV chargers in the car park including fast ones.

United KingdomHotel overall looking dated and tired. Eco features of hotel make it look dark and dingy due to energy saving lights everywhere. Nowhere to change near swimming pool - have to walk to/ from room in swimwear. Limited food selection in and around local area. Breakfast room quite small and service a bit chaotic.
Great location not far off the A4 if breaking the journey when driving to/from Calais. EV charging available both rapid and destination charger. Swimming pool - towels available from reception. Comfortable beds - firm mattress on canape-lit/sofa bed suitable for all ages. Staff all very pleasant and professional.

United StatesI wish the breakfast can provide more vegetables and fresh fruits. There is no fridge in the room. I had to book in advance for having a meal at the restaurant. A shuttle to the near by places can be very helpful.
Strong A/C. Comfortable bed. The room is spacious. We stayed here a few times because it's close to my daughter's school. The front desk lady manager and Wyatt were very helpful. The dinner at restaurant was delicious. The dessert was the most delicious one during our two months stay in France.
