To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SwitzerlandThere was nothing that I didn't like. I had to get use to the pillows on the bed but it went well after the first night. The outer door to my room was a little difficult to open but this is a fire door. Saddened to see that I earned no Best Western bonus points when I booked through booking.com
I didn't have breakfast I don't normally eat breakfast and I had an early start. Room was okay. No view but that's okay. I arrived about 1 pm and they gave me a coffee whilst I waited for my room which took about 20 minutes. No rush as check it is usually around 3 pm. I checked out very early (6 am) and the staff looked after my baggage until about 3.30 pm. I paid in cash when I checked into the room.

NetherlandsThe women at the reception were very friendly but the man was not. He clearly was in no mood to help me to use the lift. I needed his help because we were given only one keycard and my companion was already in the room. This man clearly hates his job and takes it out on unsuspecting customers. Additionally, when we sat down at a breakfast table with comfortable chairs by the window, the (female) staff member told us to move even though there seemed to be no reason to do so.

PhilippinesThe Black lady who serves breakfast was irritable. I understand because she’s alone preparing the breakfast, but she doesn’t need to be annoyed if we ask for something.
I chose Best Western Au Trocadero has the best location, its just 5 mins walk to view the Eiffel Tower. If you’re lucky, you can get a room with a view of Eiffel. Breakfast is good, value for money. I will book this hotel on my next Paris stay. Hakim, the concierge guy is very helpful and informative. The Metro train station is just 2 mins away. There’s a nearby supermarket for your needs.A lot of restaurants in the area which we enjoyed.

PolandLow water pressure in the shower. It could be a good idea to have maybe a single use toothbrush and toothpaste. Another good thing would be to add single use slippers.
Good, tidy and comfy room with super large bed. View at Tower 11/10. Breakfast was delicious but it could be a little bit better than just delicious. Very kind and funny staff. Any problem solved within minutes like for example towels😉. Just on the other side of road metro station 9, café bars and Monop' shop near by for those who wants food or drinks or any kind of things for longer stays. We were ony one night but hope to visit and stay here again 😁
