Location of the hotel on a very busy roundabout. Parking facility was restrictive. Rooms were clean but a little drab.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Decent sized room with balcony.

It is a family run hotel and we called to inform them that we would be late for checking in, around 10.30pm. The manager was very kind and agreed to wait up for us. Indeed when we arrived he was welcoming and showed us where best to park, close to the hotel. The manager was very kind. He had turned on the heating in the room so that it was so wonderful to step into the warm room from a very cold, raining winter night. Although we had to pay extra for the breakfast, it was a good spread which we enjoyed! You could see the effort that was made.

The soundproofing between rooms is poor, both between adjoining rooms on the same floor, and those over.

The hotel was easy to find and very convenient for the nearby A10 motorway. It is well placed for the interesting Roman remains in Saintes. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was unexceptional, but reasonable.

The parking that is available, and charged extra for, is a long thin garage with room for 3 cars in a line. if your car is in front of someone else, you have to move to let them out or leave your keys with the hotel for them to move it in and out. This leaves room for all sorts of problems if your vehicle incurs any damage.

Bit of a walk to dinner.

Our room overlooked the roundabout but was quiet. Clean and comfortable. Good shower. Excellent Breakfast. Friendly staff dealt with our limited French well.

Easy walk to the centre. Good breakfast, with no loud music/TV playing! Safe garage (remember to book it). Will return next time we travel through France.

Balcony is great but does face Main Street, so noisy. Breakfast was overpriced and boring.

Lots of character, very close to town centre, staff were friendly and happy. Coffee making facilities in the room. Lovely little balcony.

We arrived after a longish motorway journey to a very warm welcome in this well-situated small traditional style hotel. We liked the tea and coffee-making facilities (bring your own milk/lemon). The jams at the plentiful breakfast buffet were locally made and superb. Parking could be a little difficult depending on when you arrive but we had booked a space in the garage. Would happily stay there again - convenient for the motorway with supermarket petrol nearby but just a few minutes walk from the beautiful old town and the river.

The owners guided us to the best restaurant, we spent an excellent evening chilling out in the city and having a great dinner outside.
