The train very close to the hotel stops running very early in the day and I had to walk to the hotel twice, and take a taxi once just to get back at night.

The breakfast was ok. Although it ended at 9 they waited for me when I woke up late.

Leaving apart the general very poor outlook, as I arrived I realized that in the bathroom only 2 towels (1 big and 1 small) were available: I asked at the receptionist to supply a couple more but, despite her confirm, I didn't receive any towel and I needed to arrange with the two initially left. The wi-fi signal was very strong but it was impossible to connect to internet for most of the time (my PC outlined an alert message that sounds like "DNS or IP missing"). Only for a short time the connection worked and truly in that occasion it was even very fast but then, suddenly, the line fell down and it was impossible to restore it. The TV, which is a large flat screen with very good quality, broadcasta exclusively 20 - 25 French channels: nothing from international broadcasting nbeither italian. Most of the furniture have slight scraps and damages: none of these jeopardizes the actual functionality but the overall appereance is quite unpleasant.

Actually Briand is a very very simple (allmost poor...) Hotel located in a good position for those who should reach the "business zone" of Levallois Perret (Rue V. Hugo, Rue J. Guesde etc.). The room, featured with very simple and basic furniture is in any case of a proper size and it's fitted with a large screen flat TV. Even the bathroom is quite big, particularly if compared with the standards of Paris. My room, although facing the main street, was absolutely quite and silent, probably thanks to the very modern window with an effective sound insulation. Being there in the middle season there was no need of heating neither of cooling (but in any case the room wasn't provided of any airconditioning system...). The floor in the room was in false-wooden tiles, verypleasant to be seen and definitely more clean and hygienic than the carpet often installed in these kind of hotels.

The room was very warm and could do with some air con but for the amount of time I spent there it wasn't a massive issue.

It's a reasonably priced hotel with easy access to the centre of Paris. Levallois where the hotel is situated is itself a nice little town with good coffee shop next to the hotel and an amazing boulangerie at the end of the road. Much cheaper than staying in central Paris but the metro is easy to access so still easy to get around

This hotel is just outside of zone 1 area of Paris, and there's no metro close by. But there is an L train station only about 100m away. I couldn't figure out a convenient way of using it though; it seems that it's not as easy as swapping lines in the metro system. However, the fact that it's remote from city centre has to be balanced by the much less expensive price for the room!

Very friendly reception staff, who didn't mind that my French was almost non-existent. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Regarding walking around the neighborhood, I felt safe at all times. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food.

    NEVER GO THERE

Worst hotel I have ever been. Disgusting room with ugly window "view". No fridge, no a/c, so you die in the room during hot weather. And check the fan they placed in the room!!! OMG. So durty that it's better not to touch it. Room door was like 40-year old, looked like a thief broke it, and unable to close it, only by locking it with a key!!!!! Never seen it in my whole life! Can't mention anything positive. Really sad that we paid money for this terrible nightmare ... In addition, birds are staying at the windows making noise without break at dawn, no way to sleep!!! (Not only Genius plus was completely forgoten, but we had no pillows, towels etc. when staff "welcomed" us.) NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Better to pay a little more money to avoid such a thing like this!

Nothing! Not maintained, not well cleaned, very dirty, smelly, old room and furniture, broken window, bug in the sink etc. Staff were kind but nothing else was good unfortunately.

Really warm rooms, with big beds (the mattresses were really comfortable and you do not feel sour, or stiffed, when you wake up). The towels have been changed daily, as well as the rooms have been cleaned. The staff has been really polite, responsive to any questions and helpful. The hotel has a great location, only 1-2 metro/ train stops from the city center of Paris, as well as there were nice bakeries, cafes, supermarkets and restaurants, nearby.

It would have been nice to have a kettle for a cup of tea. The hotel is close to a train station, bars/restaurants and a building site therefore it was very loud with the windows open, which was annoying in the hot weather, but the windows were double glazed and did block out most noise when closed.

I was a young woman staying alone and I felt safe, which I found very surprising given the busy location of the hotel. The room was basic but very clean and had everything you need for a short stay. The staff were always friendly.
