Very nice but only for heavy sleepers. You can hear everything through the doors and walls, even a normal conversation. Also, the floor is very old wood... Changing the towels every day although we left them hanging for later and even changing the soap is very environmental unfriendly. No sign to let the staff know the room should not be made yet means staff has to bother the client to check.

Very friendly staff and nice deco.

Could not dine in the hotel at night, but many restaurants nearby that the hotel was happy to recommend and help with.

Nice hotel in the middle of town, with parking that does not cost the earth. Pool is pleasant and onsite breakfast good Friendly and helpful staff.

Lack of the lift in teh hotel. Usually guests come with the luggage so it's problematic to enter to the 3rd floor...

Personelwas very very helpful. Breakfast was tipical french but I like such kind of food. Bed was very comfortable and room cosy

It was a bit tricky to find, being in a 'restricted access area'. Sat nav found the address easily enough but I had to weave around a bit to find the right direction to approach. A phone call to reception where the helpful receptionist, whose English was very good, soon sorted it out.

Very friendly, helpful staff- smiling and warm. Delicious, varied breakfast, very comfortable bed and clean, well-appointed en-suite. There were plenty of eating places around the hotel; I went to a nearby pizzeria which was packed with locals. The pizza was delicious, served by friendly, welcoming staff. Hotel staff very happy to recommend and give directions. At the moment, I'm using a walking stick and really appreciated the help they gave with luggage etc. The hotel is situated in the middle of town, among pedestrian streets and offers the opportunity for an interesting and enjoyable stroll if you arrive early enough. I'd like to stay again but perhaps for a little longer.

The pool was located out of the main building.

The property had nice underground parking. Stuff was speaking English and was very helpful. They had lovely indoor pool that kids could enjoy a lot. The hotel is accepting pets without extra charges, which is lovely.

Great location near station and town centre. Excellent breakfast buffet and good coffee. Nicely decorated rooms and smart new bathroom. A fan or air conditioning in the room would have been nice, as it was a warm night.

Arrived late evening and found eating out was a problem as many restaurants were closed. Breakfast option was expensive so we chose Mcdonalds 1 mile away

Location in town was perfect once located...very nice staff and facilities. Daughter loved the fact that there is a huge toy shop next door.

The room was extremely hot and stuffy as the sun had been on it all day. If the shutters had been closed it might have been less so. It was noisy in the morning as we looked out over the street.

After a hot day's driving it was good to access to a swimming pool on arrival.

No chocolate croissant but a very large choice of food at the breakfast. The swimming pool and the sauna are incredible, the location of the other is really great, in the middle of the old city and close to the train station. The parking is small but convenient.

I would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room. We would have liked breakfast in the hotel but €10 per person is a bit steep. A lift would have been handy but we were able to leave pushchair safely at reception.

Lovely large room, charming features, very comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed the pool and spa areas too. Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful.

Car parking a bit difficult to access, but once you've worked out the route it's fine. Bed in standard room was not huge, but adequate.

Lovely welcome in this hotel right in the centre of Montbeliard. Parking area small but was available during all our visit (extra cost). Our room, in the old part of the building, was well appointed in shabby chic style, and all services clean and functioning. We did not take breakfast, but the cafe area is good for afternoon tea or late evening glass of wine. Staff were always accessible and helpful, and the pool is small but perfectly lovely with good facilities including sauna. If you're keen to swim you may want to request a room in the new rear part of the building near the pool. Location great for exploring picturesque Montbeliard on foot, and easy access by car to surrounding towns and cities from Besancon to Mulhouse and Basel.
