Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was too small. All TV channels were French, not a single international channel. The room heating was done through an air conditioning unit. The bed sheets were not changed during the entire period we stayed there, for 6 nights.
The room was clean. The staff was very kind.

The parking instructions could be given better. I was confused and parked in a different parking first and had to pay an amount there

Can be quite noisy when people are gathering at the nearby courtyard at night.
Right between Versailles and Paris. Decent hotel room, yet a bit small.

It is a bit outside of Paris center, but we got there easily enough with the metro. No fault of the hotel!
You cannot beat the price! Staff was also very friendly!

Excellent location for our short trip to Versaille Palace. Helpful receptionist assisted with bus information to Versaille which was only 25 minutes away at a cost of 2.50 euros one way per person. Can highly recommend Versaille Palace. Hotel within half a mile of beautiful forest areas for runs and walks. Supermarkets, bars, restaurants & takeaways all within immediate vicinity. Extremely comfortable bed. Great shower.

The breakfast was the most simple breakfast I have ever experienced. Very disappointing indeed!!! The room was very small and had no fridge :(

Breakfast could feature some fresh vegetables like leaves of salad or tomato to complete the croissant sandwich. Parking is a little tricky. In the evenings but it's free in August which is great. Room 301 had a squeaky bed, the shampoo bottle adhesive in the shower had failed. No toilet brush. And even a mini fridge in the room would be a great addition. Specially in those +30 days to have a cold drink once an awhile.
Staff was excellent, location in the great Paris suburb half an hour walk from last/first Metro station for line 9. Bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you to the metro or other way to Versailles' about 15 stops away. It was perfect for us visiting the Rock en Seine festival. It was an hour walk away. In the surroundings there are some good restaurants and places to have lunch and dinner. The hotel breakfast was french Ok.

Nice clean hotel, staff was very helpful and service was good. Breakfast was simple, not many options for vegetarians. Would have liked more fresh food. But coffee was good :) Overall good stay with friends and family.

Close to transport links
Great location for a trip to Versailles with plenty of links to the Paris centre as well . Easy to find location and lots of food places to eat around which are affordable . The hotel itself was a bit dated but for a clean place to rest your head perfect would stay again. The staff were attentive and gave lots of info re the area .

Not a lot of restaurants in the area but there are two grocery stores. No refrigerator in the room and no lock on the bathroom door

It is a little far away from the city center but it’s also located in a nice neighborhood.
