The stay was not good as took time to find Hotel with bar and restaurant as had been driving for 8 hrs. Found out only once I got there Restaurant shut on a Sunday. As are most of outside restaurants. You should surely cater for your guests regardless of day. Saw nothing about no restaurant on a Sunday on booking site.

Room was quite hot and there was not air con or fan so we had to open the window at night which being next to a road was not ideal. Second door into the room had a very stiff handle and it took us several attempts to get into the room, probably nothing a bit of oil can't fix.

Excellent friendly staff who spoke English and were happy to do so. Excellent restaurant onsite where we enjoyed dinner at an excellent price. The room was a good size and plenty big enough for two adults and a travel cot. Good size bathroom with massive shower. Could park right outside the door of our room which was very handy. Secure car park with locked gates at night with entry code. Excellent value for money we only paid about £30 for the room. We did not sample breakfast but I have no doubt it would have been excellent. The main thing we liked was the staff that went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. It makes such a pleasant change.

Just generally not keen on hotel room doors that open to the outside - not a major problem.

    Choice of room

Had a room at the back of hotel, quite dark and dismal, ground clearing being done so lots of creepy crawlies about. Otherwise great value for the money. Would use again but specify front room.

The place is close to the street and is very loud. The access to rooms is from an outside floor and nights the light is permanently on, the people that are walking to their rooms can easily watch over your window (like no privacy without shutters). Trucks are coming early in the morning to supply the restaurants and you'll be waked up by beeps and breaks and doors closing.

Beds are good, the desk is huge. Quite near to the center and to the high way. Breakfast is quite ok taking in account how french people usually are, but nevertheless 11 € is too much.

Lack of a lift might deter the older client as the bedrooms were on three floors

The evening meal was well cooked and well presented the breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of local and national products and very tasty. The reception area and restaurant were very clean and well maintained. The car parking area was clean and locked at night, and close to the room so transferring luggage was not a problem.

Unfortunately the rooms had neither Air con or a fan, it was a very hot and thundery day which meant that sleep was difficult to come by. usually I check for aircon, but as most other Hotels in this chain have had it I neglected to check. Also I had a room at the back of the hotel which faces the hill so no chance of a cool breeze.

The staff were very helpful and my Motorcycle had a garage all to it's self. The food was good, freshly prepared and the service was prompt.

Fortunately we arrived late evening in the cool and the room was in shadow. There was no air con and I feel that some rooms would have been very hot. Quite a long way from the centre which being medieval would have been a lovely place to explore. Our time scale do not allow this unfortunately.

Normal for a Campanile hotel. Up to expectations

No Aircon!!! Very hot in room at night so didn't sleep well. Third floor with aged dog not ideal. Only one pillow each...no spare and ANTS!!! Big problem with them so couldn't leave anything out.

Location was easy to find. Near to shops and garage. Wifi was excellent. Lovely shower in the room. Bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful. Burger type restaurant next to hotel too.

The room had a portable air condition unit which sounded like a truck. In order to operate The air duct had to be put out the window which ment insects were able to come into the room.

The breakfast was very good for France with a large selection available! The parking was secure with automatic gate locking after 22:00.

A very warm welcome, in fact one of the warmest we have ever received. The room was spotlessly clean with a huge very comfortable bed. The Bathroom too was one of the best we have ever had in a Campanile. The Wi-Fi availability was perfect although we were in the rooms on the back row. Re the evening meal, the starter buffet and desert/cheese buffet the only option available for a Sunday night in a quiet period was very good and more than adequate and in truth it is what we would have chosen anyway as we have done now for a few years when visiting Campaniles. The breakfast was the most comprehensive I have ever seen in any Campanile over numerous years in the UK and in France.

As usual for Campanile whilst the rooms are basic, they were clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Attached restaurant also good and reasonably priced offering wide range of choices. I have used 4 or 5 different Campanile's over the years and they are my 1st Choice for "one nighters" whilst travelling in France.

This was an ideal location for a swift stop over on our way to Bordeaux. The room had everything we needed and the bed that was set up for my 3 year old was perfect. Breakfast was good and was served from 6:30, which allowed us to get on the road nice and early.

The stairwells could've been better lit at night. They're also a bit on the low side for even averagely tall people. Rooms can get quite warm during summer days.

Being put in a room up stairs at the back of hotel the stairs leading to the room were worn and filthy the nets looked dirty didn't get in the room as key didn't work so we complained we were told there were no other rooms but there were because we were very early they reluctantly gave us a disabled room which I had no complaints about, The food wasn't that wonderful either We have stayed in campanile 4or 5 times this year so far and have always rated them highly we won't be staying at that one again

Staff friendly. Well served by local buses from city centre. We had an issue with the toilet and was promptly given an upgraded room.
