Staff was very helpful and service minded. Very communicative and gave many good tips when we wanted to drive around in the small cities. Hotel extremly clean and very nice room and location. Breakfast was good - nothing was missing (cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, different kind of bread etc)

The wifi was usable but very slow.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy walking distance to the beach (with plenty of restaurants for a light evening meal), easy walking distance to the shopping centre, the "Shipowner's Mansion" - well worth a visit. the Art Museum, the concrete church (impressive if not your idea of a thing of beauty). Parking in front of the hotel is available but expensive. Parking in adjacent streets ("green zone") is much cheaper. Free overnight and at lunchtime. The boss is very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff at the desk. Good, decent typical French breakfast. Room we had was very good noise isolated. Close to all interesting things to see in Le Havre.

The room with breakfast was NOT worth the 110 euro we paid for 1 night. We paid for the bigger room with big bed and got a small one, the owner told us that 15m2 described on the site does include bathroom! Room had bad quality of air even with window open all the time, probably because of the new carpet treated with chemicals against fire. We are architects and design hotels too, so I know that there are healthy and sustainable alternatives. The owner had a strange - bit arrogant kind of humor, not only while talking to us but also to other quest who asked extra service. The breakfast was not what we expected in a hotel with high rating, the cereal bread was gone and we could only get a white baguette, no eggs and just one type of hard cheese and cooked ham as toppings (many sweet toppings were available).

Location is great if you plan to visit architecture sites of Auguste Perret. Very good shower, silent room, parking is easy. If you prefer sweet breakfast then the selection was very good. There were some fruits and cereals too.

The city taxi service just did not work on the sunday we were in the city without our car. the hotel cannot be blamed; they promised to take up the matter with the taxi authority. we had to rely on the kindness of strangers to drive us from lunch to the museum and back to the hotel.

central location, newly renovated room, small but comfy queen bed and newly renovated bathroom/shower. double windows keep out any traffic noise. (In summer the lack of AC might be a problem)

Location, parking right at the front door, good value breakfast and the two guys who run the hotel are amazing. They spent heaps of time with us helping us planning our route for the next days journey. They told us where to head to for a lovely dinner and where to shop - they couldn't have been more helpful/ friendly. the hotel is pretty basic but its clean and tidy and i would most definitely stay there again.

The hotel was an older building that had been very nicely renovated, it kept its older charm whilst being modernized and made very comfortable. The rooms were well appointed, functional, modern and clean. The ensuite bath was modern and well renovated. Breakfast was served the next morning for, I think, 10 Euros, it was very good and extremely convenient to not have to go searching for a breakfast location. The 2 proprietors were delightful gentlemen. They guided us well to dinner the night we arrived and were most helpful with suggestions for locations to visit on the Normandy beaches and beyond. Parking, while initially a concern, proved to be easy, with free spots located on the street directly in front of the hotel. All in all, I would highly recommend Hotel Carmin as a well priced, comfortable and clean accommodation.

The staff were very pleasant, and very helpful. The location was ideal close to all different types of transport. The Trams were a god send. and cheap way to see Le Harve very enjoyable. Found some good places to eat which was in walking distance. Overall a nice place to stay.

The hosts were delightful! Charming, friendly, good sense of humour and interesting to talk to-- Powhatan more can you ask for? They allowed us to store our bikes inside the hotel too. Nicely decorated lobby and rooms with attention to details e.g., flowers in lobby, tea kettle in the room, and good lighting in the bathroom. Excellent bed; double windows, no noise. I highly recommend this hotel.

Told by one staff member how lucky we were that he spoke English. Smoking in room opposite, towel placed across door threshold. Asked to move room but told hotel was full. Staff on Sunday were much better.

Had to call for late check-in on Friday night (I think beginning of the weekend check-in time should be at least until midnight).

Service, friendly staff that really is invested in running the hotel well. Clean. Good internet. Details that are aimed at traveler (napkin with a nice map of Normandy with suggestions for places to visit).
