The position is perfect - right in the city centre. The room was very comfortable. The staff was very polite.

Some rooms are VERY small and a challenge if you are a bit claustrophobic. Luckily all the windows are openable and the smell of bread in the morning very nice!

The location is PERFECT - facing the Cathedral you can't get much closer to the center than that! I love the faint sound of the cathedral bells in the room - and if you are equipped with earplugs they won't bother you at all. The hotel has a quirkiness about it that is quite charming - but don't book here if you pack big suitcases! There are winding stairs to get to the 1st floor where the rooms - and elevators - start!

The bed was not a large bed. A bathroom trash can had not been emptied..and the toilet was not too safe because the seal on the edge was coming loose..risk of sitting and sweating the bowl falls??

The wonderful position in the city center. The friendly welcome. The great breakfast buffet. The view of the cathedral extraordinary from the bedroom window.

a lot of stairs up to the landing where the lift was located , a bit difficult with a disability , but the staff helped to carry the suitcases up the stairs which was great

The bed was hard.

All was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Location is excellent. We've stayed here 3 times. The bed was hard and that's the only negative. The front desk person was so helpful and accommodating. The location was excellent close to everything. Beautiful view out our window of the cathedral!

There are alot of stairs (yes there is an elevator as well, but you still have to go up one flight first). If stairs bother you this may not be the place for you.

We went to Strasbourg for their famous Christmas markets. This hotel was prime location right outside the cathedral in the main square. The rooms were spacious and ours had 2 levels. with one of the beds on another level we weren’t in each other’s faces all the time. There was a water kettle provided with some coffee and tea which was nice. There was someone ready to carry your luggage to our room as there were a lot of stairs in this old building

We were given a room in the attic so it was quite cramped and airless, we found the room too hot (even in November!) and leaving the windows open was not an option due to the noise of the street outside going on until the early hours of the morning and the bells starting at 7 a.m.

The location is the hotel‘s USP, and also its main drawback - positioned right across from the minster, the bells start going on the quarter hour from 7 a.m. onwards. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The room could have been a bit larger.

We checked in literally same day we booked, after horrible experience at Maison Kammerzell across from them. The reception was very pleasant, the room, though small was very comfortable and super clean. We were delighted they could accommodate us. Fabulous location. Breakfast buffet was ample. Fresh squeezed O.J., pastries, cold cuts and cheese and hot dishes. Very helpful front desk staff. Very secure luggage room to leave your belongings before and after using room. Would for sure recommend them and hope yo stay there again on another trip.

The location of the hotel is perfect with a stuning view of the cathedral. The room was not big, but enough for one person. The breakfast was excellent.

Had to keep the curtains closed most of the time because there was a staircase right outside my windows.

The location is great, and facilties are fine, but my room had windows opening to a covered inner yard that had been turned into a staircase. Thus, it was hard to get any fresh air.
