Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

This place is truly special and has so much to offer! We stayed in the Merlot room, which was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and smelled wonderful. You can tell they care about quality in every detail. The shared kitchen is just as stunning — well-equipped, thoughtfully designed, and inviting. Every member of the staff was warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly. And the dog… oh my goodness, the sweetest but the real highlight was the wine tour. We’ve visited 8–10 wineries in this region, including some of the more prestigious names, yet this vineyard stands out as the best. The experience is full of passion and knowledge, with the owners sharing their story and craft in such a heartfelt way. You can see the hard work in every vine and taste it in every sip. The wines are excellent — high quality and full of character — and even the label, designed by their teenage daughter, is a work of art. Even if you’re not staying here, the wine tour is an absolute must. It’s the kind of experience that makes you appreciate the effort behind every bottle and leaves you wanting to take a piece of it home. Thank you, Pierre, Axelle, and the entire team, for making our stay so memorable.

United KingdomOK for us but some may feel a little to far out from St Emillion town. However we enjoyed the walk through the vineyards.
The layout of room was well thought out, room felt tidy with cases, clothing etc out of sight. Kitchen facilities were great with everything you needed. Informative tour of vineyard was excellent.

United Kingdomwe were surprised to find the vineyard office located within the B&B space, which meant it didn’t feel very private. The kitchen and coffee-making area were shared with the office, and the “terrace” was small, not the garden terrace overlooking the vines we’d expected.
A lovely small vineyard stay with a real sense of care and quality. The owner gave us a personal tour and tasting, which was informative and relaxed. A great visit for anyone looking for something more intimate than the bigger châteaux

AustraliaWonderfully styled room in a working winery 6 minutes from St Emilion. This is the most picturesque part of Bordeaux in my opinion and you are in the vineyards. Access to a full kitchen which is nice if you have been travelling for a while

SingaporeWe were 2 couples from Singapore and we had the entire property to ourselves over the long Labour Day weekend. The vineyard is just 2 minutes drive away from St Emilion. Very quiet and out in the field away from traffic..The rooms are very clean and well designed. We like the thought put to conservation. The owners Axelle and Pierre were warm and welcoming. Very proud of what they have achieved since taking over the property in 2013. The wines have grown from so called ‘garage’ wines to being Grand Cru Classe. They produce 2 wines; The Croix de Labrie and La Chapelle. Both are principally Merlot with CS and CF as complement. I personally prefer La Chapelle . The tasting was with the 2021 vintage hosted by Axelle.

This chateau accommodation was superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were in near new condition and were spotlessly clean. We were very comfortable and enjoyed having a kitchen to use. We were kindly offered a bottle of wine and fresh fruit was available too.

United StatesBeautiful Chateau very close to Saint Emilion. Lovely setting in the middle Of vineyards. Owners and staff were amazingly friendly and very attentive to our needs. An ideal setting in the vineyards. Breakfast was perfect each morning. The room was beautiful with a/c, a comfy bed and large shower. Two units share the kitchen in between. Our friends stayed in the other room so it was perfect for us as we were able to enjoy lunch and dinner together but with separate rooms. We will be back!

New ZealandIt is not obvious from the information about the unit that it shares a kitchen. This can result in the other shared room leaving at 3am in the morning and clattering around in the kitchen from 1am making coffee. I am sure 90% of the time this is not an issue but it was for us and think it should be clearer when booking.
Lovely setting in an operating vineyard/winery. The people and setting was lovely.

AustraliaThere was nothing not to like.
A beautiful, spacious and modern bedroom and ensuite attached to an equally beautiful shared kitchen/dining room in a historic building. A delightful breakfast was provided each morning by our warm and friendly hosts who were also busy producing amazing wine. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the town of Saint-Emilion and wine region.

Amazing stay! The highlight of out trip to Paris and St. Emilion. Impeccably clean modern rooms, fantastic breakfast spread and Rosé included. Convenient location minutes from the center of St. Emilion, with parking spot available. Aurélie and Verena were amazing. Axelle and Pierre were quite busy but we bumped into them each briefly and they were wonderful people to chat with. We regret not coming home with a bottle, but we cannot wait to return!

United KingdomValue for money - it’s a beautiful place but not sure if it’s worth the price as it’s just a room/en suite. No pool or anything that usually warrants that price
The location was amazing - it’s a 3/4 min drive from Saint-Emilion. The space itself is amazing, they have great style, it’s big, AC is great and the staff are so friendly

The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked with dishes, pots/pans, and everything else one would need to cook and dine at the apartment. Breakfast was great -- wonderful, fresh pastries. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location among vineyards. We were able to take nice long walks. We did the tour and tasting and also really enjoyed that. Delicious wines!

United KingdomBreakfast - for the price of the rooms I was expecting more, it was very basic and could be really improved with a few small changes Road - it is located just off a road which is visible and if windows are open you can hear traffic.
Location was great just outside St Emillion, room was nice with use of a shared kitchen. Great facilities, room was big and decorated really nicely as in the pictures. If you’re expecting a guest house chateaux, that’s not the case there lovely rooms are located above offices and there is no one located on site. It didn’t bother us as it was just a base for exploring. Perfect location and facilities for our needs.
