There was absolutely nothing we could fault here.

We loved this hotel, the decor and the ambience of the room was in keeping with the building which we found charming. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable. We sat out in the lovely garden sipping our cocktails and just relaxing. We had a fantastic dinner of a very high standard on the terrace. Just be aware, being a chateau, there is a spiral staircase, no lift, but not a problem for us as we just bought up from our car what we needed for our stay.

The quality of the evening meal has deteriorated over the past two years and the garden has not been well maintained. Standards have dropped somewhat in these key areas.

Dinner was in a beautiful garden looking back at the chateau. Very romantic and atmospheric. The food was in the most part very good. However we paid €8 extra each for girolles with our poulet de Bresse and they had no taste which was a disappointment. Tasted some very good wine and went to sleep happy.

Would be nice to have had a light bed cover, as it was really warm for a duvet..not air conditioned which was OK. That's all...

especially annoying that no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms and no help with the bags. breakfast for thé 20€ was pretty poor and the girl ‘in charge of the breakfast room quite clearly did not want to be there and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. it always helps to smile sometimes !

beautiful old château no lift though but grounds were fabulous for the dog and parking good at the property. the receptionist changed our room when I explained our dog is frightened of stairs (rescue dog) but m’y faut for not requesting a ground floor room. but she was brilliant and understanding. dinner, which we had in our room was excellent and I cannot recommend highly enough

Our Junior suite was comfortable and charming but perhaps old fashioned and very dark. Our bathroom was a little tired in appearance. Toiletries provided but no shower cap.

Beautiful Chateau with many original features. Incredible winding staircase up to our Junior Suite. Very comfortable bed and fabulous Restaurant. Delicious dinner enjoyed so much and very good breakfast with Cereals, fruit, breads, croissants, eggs, smoked salmon and deli meats and cheese. Juices, milk, Sparkling wine, Tea and coffee. A complimentary mini bar available in the room. Beautiful balcony, useful in warmer weather. Overall stay was very good. The Staff were wonderful and courteous and polite.
