This is our third visit and it was the first visit for our friends. We were so proud to share this exceptional place with our dear friends. Beautiful place with staff who were equally beautiful! We will come again. I just love Chateau des Alpilles

Service at the restaurant was slow and unnecessarily snooty. Took 45 minutes to take our order which included out wine and an hour and a half before our food arrived. Waiter was unapologetic. Other than that, the remaining staff was kind and helpful.

We had a nice, quiet and clean room.

Only negative is that the Chateau is not a walkable distance from Saint Remy given the narrow, dusty road that leads to the property. This did not prove to be much of an issue as there was adequate parking in town as long as you get there fairly early. I would definitely stay here again. The trade off in distance does not compare to the peaceful tranquility you will experience at the Chateau.

The Chateau is so lovely and tranquil. We felt like we had been transported back in time. Pricey but the service and accommodations are top notch and the surrounding grounds and gardens are beautiful and provide a respite from trip fatigue. Breakfast and lunch under the ancient trees is a must do. Restaurant is superb. Our room was in the main house and despite the age of the building, it is kept in immaculate condition with tasteful décor mixing period antiques with more modern touches.

A gorgeous property, nice decorated, with an amazing view. Room and bathroom were large, very clean and comfortable. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very good and tasteful. The owner and her daughter was wonderful Hostesses, they make us feel at home immediately - A perfect stay. Location is fantastic, very close to Saint Remy. Hotel Château Des Alpilles is a very special place and we would love to stay again in the future.

Hotel Château Des Alpilles is such a treat! The setting is gorgeous, the rooms are tastefully done, bar and the lounge are a great place to relax with a glass of wine! And this was in the off season in late November. Spring time must be heaven. Can't recommend it enough!!

The walls were very thin --- we could hear our neighbors clearly. Dinner was a bit expensive. We had better meals in town for less.

The staff was very helpful! The grounds are lovely. The room was nicely done; the view: beautiful!

    We liked everything!

My husband and I were traveling through France for two weeks. We stayed at many beautiful hotels, but this was our favorite. The hotel itself was beautiful and relaxing. The staff was attentive and helpful and friendly. And the food was so delicious with great service! ( I loved that you had the choice of ala carte or the prix fix menu for all your meals.) We loved our entire experience with this hotel and their extremely helpful staff. Out of all the places we stayed, this is the one that we would love to come back to! It is a 10+ !

The dinner menu was not accommodating for people who didn’t like the five set options to choose from. My partner did not like seafood and the only meat was either veal or rabbit. No steak or chicken options and no vegetarian options for the night we chose to dine there.

The rooms are not very large, other chateaus we stayed in had much larger rooms. The toilet is separate from the bathroom which is usually great. This time the toilet was in the hallway, and the bidet and the sink all the way on the other side of the room, which was very inconvenient. The furniture was a bit dated and lacked attention to detail, also it was not comfortable. Overall it was an ok stay, we did not spend too much time in our room, but for the money we expected something allot better.

We loved the grounds, park like setting and that entry with those magnificent trees! There are eatable mushrooms growing all over the grounds, unfortunately nobody collects them, so they just get destroyed. I wish I could the means to cook them))) It's very close to the city center, by car about 5 minutes and there is always plenty of parking.

The hotel has a touch of "shabby chic", very charming, but needs some updates.

In a beautiful location with a fantastic garden and very close to the charming provencal town of Saint-Remy de Provence, the hotel is situated ideally. The restaurant and its service are very good, fantastic chef working with fresh seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, and a very attentive head waiter / sommelier. Overall very good service. The hotel has a small, but well-appointed gym and a nice pool.

Exceptional service and staff who were so thoughtful, professional and friendly--they made our stay truly special and deserve 6 stars. The rooms were well appointed in a beautiful chateau, with beautifully maintained grounds, and the hotel has an excellent restaurant. Very good location just outside Saint Remy and great for day trips to other small towns in Provence.
