Everything was perfect!

I absolutely loved Madame Catherine’s warmth and hospitality. The château is wonderful, kept in pristine condition, and I have never seen a place so impeccably clean. The freshness and scent throughout were remarkable. We chose to have breakfast outside with a stunning view of the garden framed by 200 and 300 year old sequoia trees, but it can also be enjoyed indoors. The pastries were unforgettable, with the best pain au chocolat and croissants I have ever had, warm and freshly baked in house. Every detail made the stay exceptional, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this château to anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and genuine care.

It’s a gorgeous property and Catherine makes sure that every detail js perfect so the stay is truly special. She also gave us plenty of insiders’ tips , which you don’t get in an Airbnb. My daughter enjoyed the small animal farm and the we all enjoyed Catherine’s impeccable breakfast with the best madeleines, croissant and pain au chocolate in France - which she bakes herself!

We walked into Blois both nights - beautiful walk along the river but a bit long.

Idyllic location, beautiful room which was extremely comfortable and quiet with excellent in-room amenities. The breakfast was supberb and our host was friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The bonus was the four moth old Burman kitten who greeted us each morning at breakfast. We will return.

The entrance to the room is directly into the bathroom, which is a bit odd. The family-sized hotel room that sleeps four has only a small window but otherwise was fine. One thing - Google maps puts the entrance at the back of the Chateau. Enter near the stadium from Rue de Stade instead!

We had such a warm welcome from Catherine! The breakfast was a great deal - so much food including some freshly baked treats. The location was great too.

There wasn't a kettle in the room, as per the description. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. But this is a very minor criticism in an otherwise lovely stay at this Château.

The Château is beautiful. It is 15 minutes drive from Blois and therefore the location is very good. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very tasteful. The breakfast was excellent, with a fresh selection of bread, pastries, crepes and fruit. And our host Catherine was very pleasant and incredibly helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Utterly charming! Beautiful chateau with a homely feel. Boutique style rooms, accessed via an idyllic avenue of trees. Lovely grounds with animals for the kids to pet. Excellent location for Blois and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you Catherine and family 😊😘

I am celiac requiring gluten-free options - I did not ask in advance for gluten-free options, yet have now learned that anyone with celiac must request gluten-free options in advance as breakfast in France begins and ends with gluten … I am sure, had I asked in advance, that Catherine would have found delicious alternatives. Breakfast was delightful even without being able to eat her lovely croissants, pain au chocolate, or homemade “crioche” (a mix of brioche / chocolate chip cookies)!

Beautiful room in beautiful chateau in beautiful location in pastoral countryside in the Loire Valley. Peaceful, with fragrant lilac and wysteria in bloom. Comfortable room, super comfortable bed, perfect for our family. Gracious hostess, Catherine. Delicious homemade breakfast, with French press coffee and the best strawberry yogurt we’ve ever tasted!

Missing airconditioning, 28 degrees is uncomfortable in the room, lots of mosquitos, layout of the room a bit strange (enter room in bathroom with direct view on toilet), hardly any authentic ("castle-like") interior left, all plastered and optimized for room rental.
