I was very hopeful for a great two nights. However I was disappointed. The hotel was clean but in the room the bathroom tiles the grout was missing, the sink taps were damaged. They supplied one tea bag so we had to share. Added breakfast on our bill when we had not had it. 17 euros each for breakfast you can go down the road for less. It has so much potential just by charging a bit less and putting more choice on the menus. Really good I suppose if you like golf. Although it says dog friendly they are not allowed in the restaurant.

    Impressive when first arrive

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay celebrating a birthday. Our room was upgraded and was very comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent; plenty of choice for breakfast as well.

Quite a lot of dead flies on the carpet, but other than that the room and all linen were very clean. Although overall the Chateau decor needs a bit of a refresh. The dinner option is quite expensive and a twenty minute drive is required to find an evening meal.

Staying in a genuine old country house was great. Ideally situated to explore many other sights on the Loire river. Great to have the golf course and club house right outside the front door.

A very nice, elegant chateau in lovely grounds. Nice-looking golf course attached, sadly I did not have time to play as we were just passing through for one night. The restaurant was good and the staff could not have been more pleasant.

The price of the dinner is a little higher, but very fancy. If you don't book a car, you don't have another option of dinner. You're gonna have to order something in the hotel. By the way, don't book this hotel if you're not travelling with a car.

The Chateau is incredible. A little old, but with all the amenitys you want. The bathroom is reformed, with new finishings, very good. The building and arounds leads to a very romantic stay. The breakfast is very good. The Chateau is not strategic as the hotels in Blois or Tours to travel around the region (Loire Valley), but has a charm and is not too far. And the roads around are very good. If you like Golf, the chateau has a complete golf course.

The difference between 'old world charm' and becoming run down is a fine balance - and without some updating the hotel could soon slip the wrong way.

The hotel is in a perfect location for breaking a Channel crossing to South of France journey. Wonderful food and charming service. Lots of old world charm.

The waiting staff in the restaurant were a bit disorganised. Aperitifs were slow arriving Paint peeling in areas but again due to the age of the building, not surprising

The location of the hotel and history of the hotel, our room was in one of the towers with amazing views. Food in the restaurant was good.

Nothing.. The room was in need of a little decoration/ paint? But it was clean .. Bed excellent .. Bathroom clean .. And the view from out of the window Magnificent !

We were looking for a stopover nr Tours.. Looked on line. Chateau had an offer on for £75 pee night.. Took a chance. Staff - Patrick and Flourent? were brilliant. We ate in the restaurant and it offers Cordon Bleu standard food... Service was excellent. We had 2 bottles of champagne and a three course Gourmet meal.. For under £ 120 !! A real good find .. And as I say Patrick.. Flourent .. Brilliant ! Bravo !

The whole place is looking slightly tired. Rooms and corridors need paint as door window frames. Room carpet old but clean. No WiFi in room - had to stand in the hall to get a signal. Grounds need care, golf course appeared to be well kept but gravel paths around the hotel were in need of weed killer and maintenance

Lovely building in a lovely setting. Good food in restaurant, friendly staff.
