Nothing - it was all exceptional.

A stunning chateau in a beautiful location! We were only there for one night sadly but would have loved to have stayed longer. The room was tastefully furnished with lots of lovely touches - and a fabulous view. As others have said, breakfast was a delicious experience and served so elegantly! A real treat for us at the end of our French road trip, and I’d thoroughly recommend this amazing slice of history. Thank you to Olivier and Priscilla for their warm welcome.

A map or some clearer guidance how to get onto the river walking path, which is beautiful The external parts of the Chateau and grounds on the side you arrive on could be better presented

The quality of the rooms was very high, including the bathrooms - beautifully modernised, lots of attention to detail, 5-star hotel linen, bathrobes, towels, bath products, mini bar, coffee pod machine. The young woman who looked after us was very helpful and friendly The breakfast was exceptionally good

The young host was very friendly but stayed closed in her quarters and buzzing felt as bothering her. I also agree with other reviews that the park could use some maintenance, as it’s currently not the most inviting place for a walk.

Spacious and clean room with comfortable bed and a nice park view. Sharing the breakfast table is an interesting experience and the tablescape is very nicely done.

We had trouble with the gate on arrival. It wasn’t clear how to ring the reception from the intercom. We used the whatsapp to contact the reception. A baby cot was provided, yet it was set up for a very young baby and the bed level was too high for our toddler. It could have been adjusted if we had an allen key with us, but we didn’t.

This chateau has lovely grounds and rooms. We had a lovely room overlooking the gardens. The breakfast was lovely with a wide selection of options. The reception contacted us on whatsapp to make our arrival smooth.

Perhaps, only the location. It is a bit far from all the main points of interest in Loire Valley. But that's something we consciously signed up for keeping in mind all the other merits of the property.

Olivier (the owner) and his team were gracious and forthcoming with all help we needed, including arranging additional bed for the kids, when it was not even included in our package. The breakfast was the highlight of the property. Top notch both in food quality and setup. The charming design of the chateau along with the lush gardens in the front made for a picture perfect scenery. We loved it.

While the property is so beautiful, it's proximity to the river invites many mosquitos! We'd recommend bringing bug spray or a citronella band in the summer.

What a wonderful property-- thank you so much for sharing with us this space. The attention to detail from even before we arrived was meticulous. The staff was helpful and attentive without being too aggressive. They recommended a good restaurant, helping us to make a reservation. Breakfast was superb, set and laid out at the time we requested with the most incredible place settings and dishes. We loved staying here and would highly recommend.

Rooms very clean and recently painted. En-suites all excellent and modern - despite the age of the property. Lovely outlook and walks by the river. The breakfast service and selection was outstanding - best of our week in France, beautifully presented in the lovely dining room and very fresh. Licia was very responsive and booked us a great restaurant and a taxi in advance - great service.

In the room of our friends the heating was not working.

Beautiful chateau with a beautiful garden at the Loiret. Licia was very kind and helpful and prepared us a very nice breakfast. You need a taxi or car to go to Orleans but we could always organize Uber within 5-10 minutes. Highly recommended this special experience.

Location was amazing, the accommodation was superb! We were treated like royalty, on arrival and breakfast served in the dining room was Devine!! The property is WOW! We all loved it!
