We just came at a time when the place was being painted - and there was wet paint signs everywhere. Also the only room that could accommodate the 4 of us was a top floor room that had a slanted roof/ceiling. So it was a bit uncomfortable to stand.

the staff was wonderful! :-- so helpful and friendly.

I don't know , I just didnt like the room ( too little ) and the city is not what I expected

The room is very little , they don't have parking and no restaurants near by , not even for a coffe in the morning. We walked the whole city for a restaurant, finally we went to a MC Donalds out of town . I would not like to go back to Nantes , I am sorry

The hotel was very quiet (because not exactly in the centre), with the exception of the slight humming noise coming from a fan that I could not locate (let alone disable), which could be annoying given the fact that it is literally the only thing you hear at night.

Friendly staff, no administrative fuss, comfy atmosphere in the lounge. There's a computer in the lobby if one needs to use the Internet. The receptionist also kindly agreed to print out my boarding pass.

Room was small. Double bed was a small double. No lighting in entrance by large mirror. Insufficient places to place clothing although there was a small wardrobe.

The triple rooms were good in that the beds were comfortable and were 'proper' beds, not foldaways, but both rooms we saw were very dark.

Location good. Near place greslin. Which was lovely. Good shops around . Cafes bars and restaurants all central. Other main area to visit is Bouffet. But take car or public transport. Well worth the trip. The staff were v friendly and helpful - they found me the phone number of a local get very quickly so I could get the dog signed off on her passport before returning to uk. As with 95% of places on France they were very dog friendly and welcoming.

Actually, the breakfast was ordinary and not as wonderful as I was expecting given the other reviews! There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, but it wasn't something amazing. On balance, I would probably have rather taken breakfast in a cafe somewhere outside.

Very nice room, small but perfectly adequate. Wonderful bathroom, also well separated from the bedroom. Excellent bed. Fast wifi. Great location. Just a really really nice place to stay!

Family room was a chambre de bonne (maid's room) converted into a 100 euro a night room. the slanted ceiling made it close to impossible to walk in the room without hitting your head on a beam and even my children could not stand in the shower due to the ceiling slant. The only windows were in the roof (velux). The area is mostly full of trendy cocktail bars with no real options for families and children. There were no basic amenities in the rooms (water, water pot, etc.) I don't even believe there were toiletries (soaps, etc.). I would like a refund, but not sure that will happen.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

No AC which was ok in October but would be a problem in summer. Our room (3rd floor) faced onto a small street so not too much traffic noise but street is narrow and acts as an echo chamber so any voices from the square nearby can be heard easily in the room. Also slight ‘drainy’ smell from bathroom sink though bathroom was obviously new and super clean.
