Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe bath is a bit hilarious; very cute but takes a little bit of technique to use if you are used to showering. Having said this the bathroom well nicely laid out and very functional.
We had stayed in this part of St Germain before and loved it. It has a great feel and close to everything we wanted. The hotel is very quaint with a ton of character; we especially liked the room with the beautiful balcony doors opening onto the quiet street. Very comfortable. The staff are excellent and so helpful - I had a number of discussions with Nas who gave me so many suggestions and assistance.

South AfricaThe rooms are small, but that’s expected in the heart of Paris, so it’s not really a complaint.
The location is excellent and we were able to walk, uber or take a metro anywhere. The beds are super comfortable and the linen is top-notch. The rooms are tastefully decorated with some interesting pieces and the lobby/reception and general areas are beautiful! We really enjoyed the breakfast too. The reception staff were always available and extremely helpful, even in English!

Short ride on the 12 metro from Gare du Nord, plus an 8 min walk. Near a shopping district ( Bon Marche) with wonderful bistros, very Parisian/European hotel experience! Cozy rooms with grand windows... breakfast available on site.

United States of Americadon’t expect a large buffet, American-type breakfast here, but coffee and croissant are very good. going somewhere else for breakfast would probably be a better value, but the convenience was worth it to me.
this was a charming little boutique hotel, much larger room and bathroom than you usually see in Paris! very large shower with plenty of hot water and pressure!

United KingdomThe only negative was that I couldn’t stay longer.
The property is cutely tucked away on a little street in St Germain. it’s a short walk away from sunbathed roadside cafe’s and a convenience store is just across the road should you need anything. This property has lift access, is decorated beautifully with pops of fresh flowers and checked furniture adorning the reception area. It’s clean welcoming and I would definitely recommend to friends and family. The beds and pillows will see you off to sweet dreams whilst the delights of your Parisian day and night float through your mind. Also the receptionist recommended Le Petite Chaise for dinner - it is a must and a short walk away.

New ZealandThe room is very small, but that's Paris. Recommend unpacking your suitcase and storing it somewhere as it's impossible to walk around the room. The shower was hot and cold and kept falling off but we didn't say anything because we were only there for 3 nights!
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at check in! They accommodated an early check in as the room was ready. We had a beautiful little balcony. This hotel is beautiful and quaint, and in an amazing area! Would definitely come back to Le Petit Chomel.

ThailandWe stayed for five nights during Christmas and had an excellent time. Everyone was super friendly and made sure we had a good stay. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom had proper hot water. We also loved the location of the hotel within walking distance to many local shops, the bon marché and to the bus or metro station. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Lovely 3-star hotel with spacious room in a quiet location, but well situated for tourist attractions and access to the Metro. We opted to have breakfast out for variety.
