Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSound insulation was not effective enough, as you could hear the neighbours; at times, I could smell tobacco, and I've noticed guests smoking in their rooms.
Overall, it is acceptable, but with some caveats. This is not a hotel per say, but rather a block of studios, and its target audience are probably those coming to Orleans to work, rather than for tourism. It is fairly close to the town centre, with good transport links, and the staff seemed friendly. However, this may not be your choice if you want a proper hotel experience and want to enjoy the room as well.

SpainWe were lucky to book the parking space as it was full when we arrived and no parking space close by, maybe 3-5 min walking you could park, but if you don't know the area, you don't know exactly where you can park. Some of the parking spaces were big, but not all and it was only one circular ramp to go in and out without any mirrors or anything, not sure how people do if they find each other in the middle
The location offered the hotel is perfect. Just 25-30 min walking to the centre. Room was big and with plenty of space. Kitchen is small, but we only use it to prepare dinner, so it was enough for us, as it has pan and casserole. We booked the parking space, which was good because parking was full when we arrived

NetherlandsThe toilet was a bit 'hidden' beside the shower, which made it less easy to access when you're not 100% mobile. The neighborhood wasn't particularly nice.
We liked the indoor car parking, with direct access to the elevator. Also the availability of a trolley cart to get our luggage to the room was outstanding. The beds were very nice, so was the shower. We also liked the availability of a kitchenette and refrigerator, plus all the necessities (silverware, etc.) Another plus was that the room was soundproof. All in all we've had a very pleasant stay, so we definitely recommend this hotel when you're in Orléans.

FinlandWe had room on the first floor and just above the main entrance. There were people keeping noise and smoking right there, so we couldn't keep the window open. People noise could be heard despite the closed windows anyway. Also, the noise from the inside (adjacent rooms and corridor) were disturbing. As for the location, during our visit the tram stop by the hotel (Coligny) was closed due to renovation, so we had to walk with our luggage 800 m to the next one. (The renovation is supposed to last until May 22.)
The staff was very friendly, professional and spoke very good English. The room/apartment was spacious, with a table, desk, two chairs and a little wardrobe. The bathroom was quite big, there were towels and soap/shampoo. The kitchenette was fully equipped. It's a perfect place to stay for a few days or longer. The property is within 2 km from the old city centre.

United KingdomWas a little bot cold the heater was limited. Not so easy for winter time. But once you lay down in the confortable bed it’s ok.
I like the fact that we have space comparing to a standard hotel room. Comfortable and clean. All the plates, cutlery, microwave… were there. So easy to reheat something to eat buy around and have a tea. A little dinner table was there… so practical to have a meal with family.

New ZealandReception hours were short and even shorter on the weekend. There was a coffee maker and electric jug but you had to provide your own products. The bathroom needed a good cleaning.
English was spoken at the reception. This is a quiet place behind some other buildings on a little one way street. Parking, which was more spacious than in some other places, was under the building. The light stayed on while unpacking the car and the lift went down to the car park level. Air conditioning was welcome. Bed was comfortable. When we came to leave, the street was blocked by a large truck collecting the hotel linen so we drove the wrong way to the main road. It was a short distance and there was no other traffic.

United StatesAnother experience where the Booking.com system supposedly hadn't communicated with hotel and had a worrying arrival when they couldn't find our booking. Well handled by reception staff.
Good location with secure underground parking. Easy access to tram and buses to centre if you don't want to walk. Very comfy bed. Would go back if visiting Orléans again.

SwitzerlandThe bathroom was quite small and a bit outdated.
The hotel is in a quiet location and you can even walk into town from there. But there is also a bus stop nearby. The breakfast was very good and the staff was always friendly. The beds were also comfortable and the size of the room was okay.
