Exceptional architecture and layout plus the attention to detail ( adaptor). We opted for dinner with other guests and the host served us single-handedly a 3 course home cooked meal with some ingredients from his garden. Wine pairing on request was excellent.very convivial. Outside seating was relaxed and the whole vibe was very comfortable in high quality build and surroundings

A warm welcome from the host set the scene for a great overnight stay. The accommodation was exceptional- lovely bedroom with comfortable bed and spacious shower room with a very efficient shower! Everywhere was spotless. An enjoyable evening relaxing and the dinner cooked by the host Tanguy was delicious. Would highly recommend this property.

We liked everything

Everything in Le Clos is of the highest quality and of a very good style. There are some very carefully chosen pieces of art which lift the spirit. We drank very good wine in the garden before eating a most delicious meal with the other guests.

That I couldn’t stay longer!

Loved this property - beautifully decorated and secure. Lovely welcoming host ( who spoke excellent English). Great location just off the main arterial route but in a proper little French town. We opted for the home cooked 3 course evening meal option which was delicious. Tasty breakfast spread with home made jams. An absolute gem!

I love the location and the relaxed feel of the property. I love that we can park in such close proximity and that our dog can wander freely in the garden whilst we enjoy an aperitif.

Needs a bit more outdoor lighting for when it gets dark.

Everything especially the owner who is so personable and made our stay extra special with a superb supper (cooked from scratch with a lot of his own produce). Nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was great.

I loved the location in the quiet small village. The dinner served by the owner and the calm relaxing atmosphere. We felt like we’re visiting a friend, didn’t even bother to lock apartment door when leaving our room. We also loved how the interiors were designed. Great experience, highly recommended.

we were on a one night stay enroute the the Eurotunnel so this suited our needs but the village was very quiet ( was a Monday) with most places closed for the day. We were happy with our decision to eat in at the property for this reason

Fantastic place with great room. Tanguay is a greet host and he cooked dinner for us and the other guests that night which was very enjoyable. Food was of the highest order The break fast was also fine with everything you wanted and he again cooked eggs to order.

We had a lovely one night stay at Clos des Poulies. Great welcome from Tanguy and the property was comfortable with tasteful decor. Wonderful breakfast with homemade jams was a plus.

Excellent continental breakfast, lovely breads, natural jams and other conserves. Owner also cooked a fabulous gourmet meal for us in the evening, which we enjoyed with two other couples in the dining area of the converted farm building. Bedroom was brilliant and very comfortable. Town also interesting, which we would have liked to have explored more if we had more time. Owner was an excellent host in all respects. In summary, thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Whilst dogs were accepted we were told after booking that there would be a charge (not how much) and it was €15….. this was the first time for us that a host that advertises they take pets then charged additionally. Dinner was delicious €33 each plus wine per glass on top…

Communal areas (dining room and sitting room) were nicely decorated. Dinner was great.

A gem of a property! The conversion to a guest house has been done to a very high standard, the decor is really cool but also very comfortable. Tanguy cooked us a delicious dinner & breakfast was excellent too with home made jam & eggs from Tanguy’s chickens.
