Main issue was the room. We were given a room on the top floor which was under a steeply sloping roof. As a result you had to stoop in half of the room to avoid bashing your head on the roof/ceiling. Both of us at some point hit our head on the sloping roof. Not the fault of the staff but the designer/architect!

Staff were great. Everyone really friendly and even all the cleaning staff. It was quirky in a typically French way which we liked...all the seats and plates etc were from different sets and designs. Breakfast was decent too.

The shower tray was quite slippy. After having a bad experience we would appreciate a shower mat.

The space in the room wasn't very large, the hotel is not in an attractive location and the price was a bit high considering those factors. It is not close enough to the historic city center for older and/or mobility impaired people. The parking spaces are relatively narrow for the collection of modern cars that were there when I was.

the room was comfortable to use, and had all facilities like airconditioning, a chair and a table and of course a bathroom and shower. The hotel is on walking distance (of a healthy pedestrian) of the historic city center, which is beautiful. Due to the location being about a kilometer from the historic city center, it is easy to approach by car. The breakfast buffet was good. The selection is expansive and the quality is decent.

Walking distance to the lovely town of Colmar, didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, found a super buffet a 5min drive away for an evening meal. The staff were very helpful

The cost of the breakfast was a little high but had a variety of bread, jam, ham, cheese, cereal, cold meats and tea. Would have liked the option of a soft boiled egg and toast.

It was a good location for getting everywhere. The om site restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The whole recycling theme was well managed. Nice to park the. car securely.

- Breakfast was not great - far from the city center (I knew it when I booked the room, so no problem for me, but if you are looking for a closer stay, the hotel is not the best option for you)

+ free parking with charger for electric vehicles + bus stop in front of the hotel (keep an eye on the last bus, otherwise you might need to walk back to the hotel from the city center) + nice staff + supermarket close by + We were allowed to enter the room before the check-in time with no extra charge
