Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Stayed in early April and it was good value for money. The tramline is only several hundred metres away with line B going into the centre of the city.

-It's not a fancy, new hotel (I don't consider this is a negative point because you get what you pay for) -the bathroom is small but functional
-free parking -walking distance to the center of the city(15-20 minutes) -the restaurant is good and the food was delicious and local. -Good breakfast that includes local cheese. -helpful and kind stuff

There is free parking next to hotel. It is 10 minutes by tram from the city centre and 25 minutes by walk. It was nice stay.

The room was pretty small for two people
Very polite staff and it's very close to the tram stop, you're in the city centre in around 20 minutes. The room was clean and enough for one night.

Location is great if you plan to visit Strasbourg and other cities as it has access to the highway

The rooms are very small, especially the bathrooms
The staff is very friendly. The rooms, even though they are small, are comfortable. The value for the price is very good. I also appreciated the location since, even though it is not close to the city center (30/40 minutes walk), it is well connected with the tram.

Towels were very small

Just because it is out of the city center it is a bit difficult to get there if you re late having drinks in the center. But we knew that in advance.
The personel was very welcoming! We were there in new year's eve, there was a nice dinner organized by the hotel and it had a family feeling. Would only suggest some music for the next time ;) The location was next to the tram station, so easy to get to the center most times. A parking was available. The room was clean and comfy.

Great location with parking available and close by the historical city centre through a very pleasant walk along the Rhin! I would certainly recommend it for a short stay since the hotel is very simple but very clean and the staff extremely nice and friendly!!!

The rooms are a bit small but it fulfills its function well.
The hotel is at a quite location surrounded by local community. One can take a nice walk along the river (2 minutes from hotel) or take the tram (3 minutes) to the center. Staff very friendly and the breakfast is wonderful!

It is a shame there was a smell of cigarette in the room, but the staff immediately changed the room and then it was better!

Nothing really, it was a great place to stay.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was a wonderful spread. It was a pleasant walk into the centre of town beside the river.

The room was pleasant and quiet. The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. It is a little difficult to get there by public transport, but a 5 minute walk from the station to the tram, 5 stops on the tram and another 5 minutes was all that was needed. The hotel provided a good dinner with the possibility of local cuisine

Space in the room for storing clothes etc. was limited.
The room had everything we needed, beds very comfy. The hotel is in a quiet residential area only 5 minutes away from the old centre by tram. The staff were very friendly, and the meal we had in the on-site restaurant was delicious.
