Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Some of the staff doesn’t speak English which makes it difficult to communicate if you don’t speak French. Also the breakfast finishes at 10.30am but when we went at 10am already almost half the things were packed up or being packed up by staff so that was disappointing
Excellent location and very nice room with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom!

Only minus point were that it is rather noisy, room a bit dark (some more lights maybe?) and breakfast options could be improved (some fresh vegetables maybe)

Location location location A brisk 5 minute walk to the beach and old town It is a three star property but it has all one needs, clean comfortable bed, no drink making facilities in the room but 24 hour access to a coffee machine, still and sparkling water at the reception and drinking water in the taps of the room. No comments on breakfast as we did not have it. There are many eating facilities around the place. The bathroom has a fixed dispenser shampoo which is of good quality. No other toiletries provided which really is not a make or break deal.

The walls are to thin i guess because sound from outside was like coming from my room.
The place of the hotel was amazing. The decoration was cozy, breakfast was delicious and sufficient.

The room was small, with double deck bed.
The location is fantastic, and it's in the city center, and it's easy to reach all the sight seeing. The staff were really nice and helpful and, there is a welcome desk of coffee machine and tea corner at the entrance.

The noise on the hallway. My room was near the service room and it was a little bit noisy in the evening.
The location is excellent, very close to the Place Massena and the Promenade des Anglais. Also very convenient in terms of transportation, just 3 min from Jean Medecin tram station which leads directly to the airport. The hotel room was small, but clean and comfy for a single person.

Incredible value for money. I paid a very low price and expected it to be rather dingy but it was lovely. And the staff was so nice. They upgraded my room for free before I arrived without my asking to just because they had a nicer room free than the one I booked. Lovely location with great shopping in the neighbourhood. Room comfortable and nicely furnished. Free coffee and sparkling water.

Rooms were too small - no space to move or store items. Walls are very thin - you can hear what is going on in the corridors and next door very easily.

Wash basin in bathroom was tiny, made a splash on the floor trying to wash my face.
A modern, fun hotel with cool decor and a central location. Easy to get to from airport by tram, also old town close by. Cozy breakfast room and good selection of breakfast items, even eggs you could boil yourself. Coffee/tea by the reception.

I was staying in a hotel belonging to the same chain in Marseille (HappyCulture) and that one was superb but in Nice I was a bit disappointed: - sound isolation: you could easily hear what was going on in other rooms (I quickly understood why there were earplugs available) - minuscule bathroom: when you sat on the pot you almost hade to bite the sink and to get out of the shower you had to half jump over the toilet - there was rather intensive and unpleasant scent of some cleaning detergent - lighting was not enough and no outlet by the bedside

The walls are very thin, you can hear everything in the next rooms and hallway. We had bad luck in one night, a family returned after 1am and it was very loud for several hours. But on the other nights it was quiet 😊. The shower is very small.
Modern room, confortable bed, close to the city center. Breakfast is varied and tasty. They provide ear plugs to solve the noise problem.
