Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There's some noise at night on the side road, which can be irritating if you want your windows open.
The staff was top-notch ... the concierge's recommendations for dining were perfect. The location gives you so many options for things to see close by. The rooms were wonderful. We plan on returning soon!

Everything went fine, perhaps the rooms are a bit small, but paris hotels are like that.

Excellent location in my favourite part of Paris. Super friendly and helpful staff that make you feel welcome from the minute you check in. Super efficient advice and bookings received from the congierge. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy. I am already looking forward to my next stay. Then I will try the pool and spa area that looked spot on.

There was nothing that I did not like.
I had a junior suite and was happy I did because it was the perfect size. I would have been uncomfortable in a smaller room. The nightly jazz performance was great.

This hotel is a little gem in the trendy neighborhood of Saint Germaine des Pres. If you want to get the real French experience with true parisians daily life and not just to be sorrounded by tourist trap restaurants and places, this is your hotel. It’s elegant, chic, the staff is very courteous and authentically helpful. Breakfast is well presented buffet style, they don’t have a restaurant but they work for in room service with a neighbor restaurant. Rooms are clean and spacious, bathrooms comfortable. It has a large indoor pool and a spa. The hotel is centrally located, 3 blocks away from Pont Neuf and you can walk to Le Louvre museum. It is sorrounded by nice restaurants, massage places, stores and bookstores. Many people walk on the area and is very safe at any time to walk around. It is also close to the St Germain des Pres Christmas market, Notre Dame de Paris is also close by and at a walking distance. Will definitely go back!

The location was perfect. The staff was so nice and very professional. We loved our room, it was in the older area of the building and beautifully appointed. We had a window out to the center atrium. We sat in their lodge room to play cards and have a drink. The waiter set up a nice table for us and service was great. The place was so beautiful and everything you imagined for a quintessential French hotel. They also had a jazz band that played while we were there and it was very good. The atmosphere was great. Morning breakfast was very good too, a lot of options.

Hotel d'Aubusson is a gem of hotel located in the heart of St. Germaine. The staff is very attentive and the concierge will assist you with reservations and planning. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The spa/gym is a nice place to workout or unwind and relax with the steam and sauna room.Hotel d'Aubusson offers an exceptional experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression. I will surely book this place again.

The hotel is top notch, well located in the lively Latin Quarter, beautifully appointed, and exquisitely furnished. The staff was incredible and went above and beyond to make us feel at home and take care of our every need. We felt like guests staying in an elegant Parisian home rather than a hotel. We will definitely return and highly recommend Hotel D’Aubusson.

I slipped in the bathroom even with a rug on the floor. Fortunately I only had a very bad pelvic bruise. The towel I stepped on slipped. The hotel gifted us a driver to the airport and supplied non slip rugs and a step stool. We lost a day and night of our Paris visit not too mention the sleepiness nugts and painful days that lasted the rest of the trip. I would’ve thought the hotel should’ve been a bit more generous on their part. Otherwise, the hotel was great.
