Allot of road noise as is a popular district for people to hang out at late at night, suggest you bring ear plugs.

Great location if you want to go to all the main attractions, 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station and quite close to Gare du Nord so was easy to get to. The staff were exceptional and friendly, was lovely to see such a happy welcoming from them each time we came back to our room. Loved our balcony view which was great for pictures. The 24/7 concierge desk was a plus and put our minds at ease for safety.

It takes a while for hot water to reach the rooms on the top floor but the bonus of a balcony was worth the minor inconvenience.

Room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant next to the hotel serves an amazing carbonara, and the close proximity to metro and Gare du Nord is a real bonus. Absolute highlight though was Yaz. He was friendly, fun and just plain lovely.

    Hotel owner

The hotel owner wasn't the most friendly person, i came early and requested to keep my luggage, he wasnt very happy with the ask and refused me use of toilets and looked pretty irritated, i met Yaz at the time of checkout, he was polite and respectful.

The shower is broken, and other facilities not well maintained, we can see ugly details in the room and wc, must be renovated. Some disturbing noise by night from machines

The location is good if ure traveling through Gare du Nord or Gare de l’est cause very close. The price is good comparable to other hotels in Paris

The location is certainly a distinct feature of the hotel especially when considering the price you pay for the room because it is so close to the Gare de l'Est train station and not far from the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. I find the price very reasonable. Moreover, the staff is very nice and friendly; they can help you find whatever you ask for.

Convenient stay close to shops, metros and restaurants

The room had what looked like a small, tiny fridge, but I was unsure if it was working. Being able to put a bottle of cold water or some leftovers from the night before would have been convenient. The bathroom smelled moldy occasionally, but it wasn't too bad. I know it's common in Paris, especially in older, less expensive hotels. This hotel went the extra mile to include an air freshener in case the smell gets bad, which I thought was a night gesture/thought.

This hotel is close to the Gare de l'Est train station and, therefore, close to many metro stops and bus stops. It is also on a street full of restaurants, stores, and boulangeries, so there is always something delicious right around the corner if you are hungry. The hotel staff is super friendly, making you feel like you are "chez toi," which means at home in English. The room I stayed in was a good size, and it had a small bathroom. The room was equipped with clean towels and a few soap packets, a coffee machine, a kettle, and some coffee and tea packets. Oh! and there was also a small safety box too. Thanks to the two large windows facing the courtyard, it also had a lot of natural light. There is an elevator, too, which is super convenient if you have large suitcases. The bed was comfortable, and it had soft, fluffy pillows to sleep on. The room and the hotel were pretty clean overall.

Not the property itself (and no fault of their own) but the location can be a bit unsafe. We were almost robbed when walking around Gare de Nord.

Yaz is SERIOUSLY so nice and friendly. The room was good value for money. There are some great restaurants nearby.

Bathroom could perhaps have been set out a little better but can't have expectations too high for a 2 star Hotel.

Good location, very close to Gare du Nord. Front desk staff were extremely friendly. Reasonable value for money considering it's a 2 star Hotel.

Only downside, front door was locked at midnight, would have liked access after midnight but everything else was perfect for an overnight stay.

Really comfy bed, warm and cosy, room was much bigger than expected especially for Paris. Coffee , tea, toiletries and lined were good quality.

It’s an old building so the floors were disconcertingly uneven, but really that just adds character.

This property is a charming option in an excellent location in Paris. Central to two metro lines and a relatively quick walk to Gare de Nord. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Restaurant up and down St Denis were great.
