Due to pedestrian-only streets, access for taxi/Uber is limited (but not difficult) so do some planning

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable & quiet room. Nice breakfast room and sitting space. Closed windows kept room quiet at night, event though clubs at adjacent streets were quite loud and there was a concert event at the Arena.

Near the city center is an advantage as well as a disadvantage. The noise from street didn’t stop until 1:00 am. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic for providing assistance in my request. The breakfast offering lots kind of bread is a big fest to start a day. A warm greeting from the staff when leaving and coming back the hotel makes me feel pleasant.

clearer information. Booked a hotel rather than air bnb as I knew we would arrive in the evening. Hotel details on booking.com said reception closed at 10.train was late, arrived at hotel at 9.45. All in darkness and locked. Note on door said closed at 9.30. In my panic of being without a hotel I couldn't get through on the phone. Fortunately I was able to use my phone data and emailed the contact. Received a quick reply with access codes and key box details but wasn't a great start. Not sure what I would've done if I couldn't use email.

Some confusion over breakfast. Asked the night before about what we wanted. Informed staff on two occasions on that night and following morning, e.g. re eggs, bacon, etc. was told this was fine, but only cold buffet appeared.

Quirky, fun property in an excellent location. Would definitely consider staying there again.

The bathroom was small though adequate There is no lift but the rooms are on just 2 floors up a wide staircase.

Small friendly hotel. The location is excellent for access to all main points of interest in the heart of the city and close to many good restaurants. The room was a good size and had an atmosphere in keeping with its location in the old town. The decoration was in keeping with the historic nature of the building. A good selection was available for breakfast with personal service from the staff and good value

We/They had previously confirmed an paid upgrade from second night. Unfortunately this had not been entered into their booking system. Daily housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. No towels, no toilet paper and one day bedroom door not shut, so without room safe, anybody could have walked in. WiFi kept dropping out on iPad, so constantly having to log back in.

Excellent location for everything in Nîmes. Very comfortable bed. We knew about stairs, but if you have any mobility issues, do not stay above 1st floor.

Location very good, can walk to train station and attractions, booked a superior room which was very spacious, breakfast was disappointing, cereal laid out but no milk, toaster on counter top but no bread, seemed you had to ask for everything, would be better if server explained what the choices were.

Very good location. Clean, cool, spacious room. It was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good value. The staff were friendly. It was all as expected. It was great for a short sightseeing trip.

Hard to get the luggage up all the stairs. The shower water was never hot. The room was not as charming as the photo, or they gave a different one than I booked for.

Location was great, literally across from the Amphitheater in town which was a nice surprise for us since we had no idea where we were heading!

It is obviously quite small due to the very central location and the absence of a lift might be a problem for some, but this is more than compensated for by the lovely position and environment.
