It’s Paris so we expected it was going to be pretty small but it was borderline too small, I could barely fit in the bathroom and i’m 1’86m. The room for some reason was tilted. The WC didn’t flush properly and it got blocked quite easy, even when it wasn’t blocked, it smelled disgusting and the room was filled with it.

It’s well located near Gare de Lyon and so using the metro and RER is the quickest option, the area in itself is very nice with plenty bistros. Staff was very friendly and helpful and gave recommendations.

Rickety/narrow stairs to room on top floor. Difficult with suitcases and no idea how we would have got out if there was a fire. Room small but basic. Not even a kettle with tea/coffee

Major concern was the lack of a lift and somewhat precipitous stairs. Bathroom was a bit pokey and some of the equipment needs attention.

I chose the hotel because of its close location to the Gare-de-Lyon station. It was great from this perspective but to find myself on the fifth floor of a hotel with no lift was a challenge after a long day travelling. The bedroom was small, basic but adequate.

Just a little small, old and noisy doors (you have to slam them to close them) , not so great at night.

Great location, next to Gare de Lyon, restaurants, pharmacies, buses and shops around. There is always someone available at the front desk 24/7. The room respects the cleaning standards of any hotel.

You get what you pay for. Cheap facilities, small space, minimal comfort.

The front desk is open 24 h. They kept my luggage the whole next day so that I didn't need to carry it during my business trip (from Gare de Lyon which is 3 minutes away).

room was small and sooo very cold. the heating was off and all windows open when we came in. closed windows and turned the heat on - it wasn't enough to warm up the room. left for the day and came back - same story - windows are open, very cold inside. room was very basic, and cleanliness was just ok. we paid a lot for this room because it was New Year and we couldn't find anything affordable at all. It was the only option. Still too expensive for the room's quality and lack of comfort.

Winding staircase not easy to negotiate as on the 5th floor. Very loud fire alarm went off when I was in the shower and after hurrying to dress and run down the stairs no one seemed to know what was going on but false alarm

Staff friendly & helpful & provided map of Paris. The area is quiet but the location is great within a few.minutes of Gare de Lyon, bars, restaurants, shops. After checking out was able to leave suitcases to pick up later.

The internet wasn’t working at all. We wanted to check in early (7 a.m) , but it wasn’t possible so we had to leave our luggage at the hotel and go out. We only had one day so it wasn’t nice.

The room (double) was very tiny so it was good we were only there for one night. The bathroom was probably the tiniest I have ever used, although the shower was good and hot and everything was updated and clean. There was quite a bit of noise and street light from outside so we did not have the best night's sleep, and the room had no aircon so we needed the fan that was supplied.

Location is great - we needed somewhere close to the Gare de Lyon for an early train the next day. It is also walking distance to many local bakeries and restaurants, and Place de la Bastille. Hotel was clean, reception staff were helpful. It was good value for money.
