Walls are very thin and we could here the guy next door snoring very loudly. Bathroom was a shower over bath and a little jaded.

Wonderful location overlooking the Seine at the front and overshadowed by the cathedral and the old town wall at the rear. Clean and comfortable, we are very lucky to be offered a secure parking space for our little car but there is ample parking outside if you arrive during the day. Beautiful little town lovely chic restaurant in the square excellent value. Basic breakfast is optional

No room refreshment facilities - no English-speaking TV programmes - no evening meal facilities - no off-road parking facilities - a little expensive for a one-night stay without the missing facilities.

A good size bed - hotel close to town centre next to the quiet river bank

Friendly welcome, excellent breakfast. Although we didn't have the time it is possible to borrow bycicles for rinding along the Seine and Eure rivers.

There's no air conditioning so may be hot in the summer.

Very nice French breakfast. Fresh croissants and pain chocolat. Great jug of coffee au lait. The double room we had was big with an equally big and comfortable bed. It is ideal for a nightstop on the drive to/from the Calais ferries. Local bars and restaurants were nearby. The manager seemed to speak only French but had an amusing sense of humour.

no tea /coffee making facilities in room. To tell the truth the we found only one Restaurant in the town and that was fully booked. Had to make do with a very mediocre Brasserie

Everything was little more than OK Pont de l'arche is an attractive but small town, not too far off main our main route from Dieppe to La Rochelle.

The breakfast was very limited for the price - just bread, croissants, orange juice and coffee. Some fruit or eggs would have been appreciated. The curtains in the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke.

Good location overlooking the river and very close to the village, which has a couple of bars and one particularly good restaurant. The hotel is an old building with fairly big rooms and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Really quiet location. But the room walls were very thin, so we heard our neighbours take an early morning bath.

The website suggested that there was private parking, but there is only street parking available

French style rather than a modern box

A warm welcome and friendly faces. It was such a short stay for us but made us want to come back and visit again for longer.

The shower fitting was crumby - badly sited so it faced the wrong way and was unstable. Heating was off for 'summer' (this was mid-May) but the weather was cold and so was the room! The breakfast was the most basic 'continental' style we encountered throughout 4 countries and 8 hotels and not cheap for that.

The Room was sizeable enough and overlooked the Seine. it had a good sized en-suite with a view over the town walls (and a tower, after which the hotel takes its name) Proprietor was charming - English non-existent so expect to speak French!

A good continental breakfast at the hotel but be aware that the town is a bit short on places to eat in the evening

Very pleasant and peaceful old hotel. No frills. A charming and well maintained ancient town on the river.

Parking was a little tight but we managed to find a space on the road outside the hotel.

Location was perfect for what we needed.
