We fine some small insect in the toilet

Parking , breakfast

The Hotel is very central close to all commodities.

The fact that the rooms are duplex it was quite a difficult as we had a 78 year old lady with us and couldn't go up the stairs easily to make use of the bathroom facilities which were upstairs. With regards to the breakfast, no toaster at all and sometimes there was rotten fruit served. For the rest it was ok.

Great location on the grand canal. Breakfast was decent, if not special. Issue with room (bad drain smell) addressed promptly with a change to another room.

The breakfast is very good, location is convenient

not easy to access in parking car, there was a stain in bedsheet when we received the room. We asked to change the bedsheet but it wasn’t changed. There was smelly drain in the room.

The a/c didn’t work well

We liked the proximity to the center of town and easy access to the restaurant district. The room was huge and the A/C held its own.

We were to arrive in the evening (advised hotel) and after learning a flight delay (also advised hotel) we arrived after midnight. The 24hr front desk is more “ish” than reality. The lobby was dark, no one there. The doorbell was unanswered. There was a phone number on the door which we called. After second unanswered call a nice but slightly disheveled man came to let us in and asked why we hadn’t used the door code. Obviously we had not yet then checked in so had no code. The room key was in an envelope on the desk so an exchange of bon nuits and we were set.

Great location although noisy setting. Rude / indifferent staff. Great room. Did not dine at all in hotel as far nicer, cheaper options a few steps away.

WiFi connection wasn't the best and I had to switch to my mobile phone, nearly the entire stay!

The location is excellent. We love the market up the road, the restaurants are all around the hotel. There is a lovely square very close by and you can walk along the canal.

The room was a bit dark. The lighting could have been better but it is only a minor problem.

Nice breakfast and location.

Neither the air condition or WiFi worked during our stay although it said so at the website. The lack of air condition made it impossible to sleep.

Excellent location…just next to the canal. Good continental breakfast, but not a member of staff in sight so completely self service! We used the public car park on the opposite side of the room which was very secure and reasonably priced.

Air conditioning wasn’t effective in the room. The staff spent a lot of time chatting on mobile phones.

Close to the centre and railway station . Lots of restaurants shops nearby. Easy to get the tram to the promenade de anglais

Room was small

Location is good , v near canals and boat trips and bus lines to station and to beaches. Wide range of restaurants nearby.Large suite, very comfortable bed needed for furniture to put things on. Breakfast fine, nice patio for eating. Staff very friendly.

Room wasn't fully equipped - kettle but no cups ( or glasses). Reported a broken door in wardrobe but nothing done in 5 days we were there.
