I've been staying in this hotel many times since it opened. There has been some much-needed redecoration recently but the furniture is starting to look a bit shabby.

The only thing is that the carpets need replacing and a a few details missing in the bedroom, a few more toiletries and a tea towel for rooms that have a kitchenette

More parking for busy times

The staff were great, helpful and happy to speak French or English, which ever you chose. Breakfast was good, great selection, something for everyone's choosing. Staff were happy to go above board to help park my car near the entrance for extra room. The car park/property is locked up at night with given codes for entry. Thus giving peace of mind. Overall great.

Sitting area in suite is a bit scantily furnished, needed easy chairs. The mattress and / or the bed needs replacing as dips to the middle and not very comfortable. Carpet in corridor is badly marked. The chairs in the lounge area are not too comfortable.

Well located for the centre of town. Very spacious suite with good kitchen facilities. Excellent shower en suite with separate wc. Good private parking.

Signage on approaching car park could have been better. It wasn’t clear at all that we had arrived in the right place! There is a note requesting kitchen to be clean on departure but no dish towel left to dry dishes. All a little dingy, especially the corridors, and could do with a brighter coat of paint.

Great location, only a 2 minute walk across to the historic centre (which was truly fabulous). Suite was great with plenty of space. Staff were super helpful. All in all, a really good find.

Would be useful to have washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel provided. Thorough deep cleaning required in some areas (bathroom, corners and skirting boards). The carpet in the room next to where breakfast is served is noticeably stained and I'd suggest replacing it with hardwood or laminate flooring.

Great location with free parking. We arrived later than expected due to delayed flight and the lady at reception was brilliant, making sure that we were sorted for dinner before checking into the room. Excellent food and wine served at the hotel bistrot. Nice to have fridge, kettle and microwave in kitchen area.

The kitchenette could have been stocked better in terms of bowls and cloths to clean dishes etc. The hotel did not have a hotel bar and therefore lacked any atmosphere in the evenings.

The property was clean and location was great. Pool was lovely. Having free filtered water available was great and the hotel seemed to be aware of sustainability issues. Having a kitchenette in the room was really useful.

The stained carpets in the hallways were depressing but once in the room it was very good though the furnishings were a bit grubby looking too.

The pool was welcome and the location to the town… and the size of the room was amazing!
