The bedrooms were too hot for sleeping during the heatwave… the fans just blew hot air like a fan oven… :-/. Also the TV never worked - but we didn’t really need it.

Glorious, relaxing property with exquisite pool and private spaces to get all the R & R you’d ever need. Jodie, James and family were charming and welcoming, and their dog Peritus is my new best friend! Perfect spot for exploring the area.

Jodie and James are lovely and so helpful. My room was so cool and comfortable and it was a relief to have no communication barrier because they're British. Breakfast was a feast every day and the dinner their mum in law cooked was delicious. Thank-you for a lovely stay .

Nothing-it was a dream!

The best place we have stayed in a very long time!The location was incredible. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We came as a family of four (2 and 4 year old) and the whole family were so lovely and welcoming from the minute we arrived to when we left. The room was immaculate and so spacious, all of the linen and pillows were of great quality and super comfy. The breakfast was amazing, the dinner was clearly lovingly prepared and delicious. We booked two nights instead of one due to the reviews and we are so very glad we did. Hopefully we will be coming back again.

Everything was great, the room was clean and spacious, the bed large and comfortable. We enjoyed our time at the pool. Breakfast was great. The hosts were very nice and friendly.

Some of the equipment at the playground would need maintenance. The dinner was ok, but rather basic and reading the other reviews we would have expected more (but only had it once, so might just had a bit of an unlucky day).

The owners of the property are very welcoming. Our accommodation was equipped with everything that we needed and was very cozy. And it was really value for money. The breakfast was good. And the whole property is good with kids as you can keep them entertained. Good tipps for tours and trips that you can do while you are staying there.

Absolutely nothing!

We liked everything, the whole package! Gorgeous surroundings, super chic room, with very big bathroom. There was air conditioning but we hardly used it, as the ceiling fan does excellent job! Most of everything, we liked the people! It is a family business, and we felt welcomed by everyone single person in the family! Thank you, Jodie and James and family! We wish you lots of luck!🍀

The most beautiful setting for a family break to Carcassonne. Great accommodation; clean and comfortable, the pool area was great with stunning surroundings, and the hosts couldn't be more accommodating. We will definitely be back!

The family who own Domaine de Palats are lovely and very welcoming. They do everything to make your trip enjoyable. Excellent woodland walk straight from the bedroom into nature. Peritas the dog was a real hit too. Definitely recommend.

We had the best stay here. It's a family-run place, Jody and James are very welcoming, lovely and know the best places to go. We followed their recommendations every time and we had the best day trips. The place is absolutely stunning, very peaceful and close to many gorgeous villages. It's surrounded by vineyards. It's also a very family and dog friendly place (our son loved the swing and the trampoline). Their breakfast is to die for, with a bit of everything for everyone. We fell in love with Palats, and we are already looking to come back in the summer. 100% recommend.

Jodie and Sam have been exceptional through and through. We have tremendously enjoyed their stunning place. Beautiful quiet location in the nature, rustic charm, and incredibly welcoming to us and our little ones. We came with a 5 and an 8 years old and they loved playing in the swimming pool, the trampoline and with both the son of the family who was their age, and the beautiful and friendly dog. Breakfasts were an amazing treat each morning, as was just waking up to the sound of the birds. This place is very well located (you need a car) with marvelous sites nearby (grottoes of stunning beauty, hikes to mysterious castles, nice restaurants and of course Carcassonne).

Everything was perfect! The bed was incredibly comfortable—I didn’t want to get out of it! We found ourselves wishing we could stay longer; this place truly deserves a multi-day visit to fully enjoy all it has to offer.

IThis place is truly a gem! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners, making us feel right at home. The location is easily accessible, with convenient parking available. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, providing the perfect retreat. Our accommodations were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, creating a cozy environment where we found it hard to leave. The owners, a lovely family along with their friendly dogs, have clearly put a lot of thought and care into this space, which is reflected in its charming decor and attention to detail. Great Breakfast!! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! We can’t wait to return.

There was nothing we didnt like about our stay.

We were blown away by the amazing location, beautiful views, stunning pool, spectacular food and lovely apartment. All the owners and staff were friendly, helpful and always available to assist. We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.
