A beautiful location and the house/hotel was done to a very high standard. Nickolas was an excellent host and we really enjoyed eating our dinner al fresco in the beautiful surroundings.

Leaving rather early on day two.

Nicolas is an excellent host and makes every effort to ensure a memorable experience for his guests. Domain de Prestal provides 21st century comfort within a building with 15th century origins. The real log fires at supper and breakfast (in March) typifiy the charm and character of this venue. Oh yes -- and the food is delicious. Thank you, Nicolas, for our memorable introduction to your department.

Having to leave!

A perfect location for peace and tranquility. The accommodation was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities (we booked the Charleston suite) Although we weren’t self catering it was nice to have the kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable and bed linen very good quality. The room was spacious cosy and well equipped. The host Nicolas was very welcoming and helpful with his knowledge of the area. We booked in for two nights but extended our stay with three extra nights. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning :-)

There isn’t anything that we didn’t like about our stay or the property.

We loved everything about the property….. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. We had a most friendly welcome and felt at home straight away. The decor is fabulous and the rooms are super comfy. We will most certainly be back next year and for a longer stay.

Breakfast included "eggs to order"... a rarity in France ! Covered and secured parking available for motorcycles and bicycles. Nicolas was a charming and helpful host. The "Pigeonier", an old pigeon coup is completely restored with modern amenities, upstairs bedroom, with bathroom and lounge on the ground floor. Ideal for a couple !

Nicholas the host is exceptionally welcoming and an active communicator. The property is very attractive and immaculately presented. The food is delicious, served either in an attractive dining room or on the sunlit terrace. We were delighted with our stay.

Location is very secluded and is very much in rural France. The property is decorated beautifully, and our room was a generous size. We had both an evening meal and breakfast and the food was of great quality. I loved the Normandie tartiflette.

Low backed chairs in lounge area very uncomfortable Really all chairs should be high back Not a big issue and we should have checked VAT is charged on accommodation and meals
