No lift so not ideal for anyone who would have difficulty carrying luggage up 3 floors on a spiral staircase. When I returned to the hotel at night there was a group of youths hanging around the front door drinking beer. Could have been off putting to some

Location was good plenty of restaurants to choose from and very close to cathedral.

Only 1 pillow per person, no spares visible. Second night was very noisy because of other guests

Very clean, large room. Manager/owner spontaneously gave us a ground floor room when he saw we had heavy suitcases. Hotel is within very, very short walking distance of a huge variety of cafes and restaurants.

Attic room is very warm so we had the windows open which let in a lot of street noise throughout the night. The shower showed a lot of signs of use and could have been cleaner.

The location was fantastic (even if it did prevent me from sleeping). So close to the cathedral, patisseries, restaurants, bars and the beautiful river. The staff were great, two main bonuses were; one of the staff speaking great English, another member of staff parked our car for us. The parking is tight and comes at an additional cost but they were so helpful that that didn't really matter. For what we paid the facilities were fine. Ideal for the budget traveller. Merci beaucoup!

Note that the vehicular access to the hotel is through the pedestrian precinct then along a narrow one way street -way things are in old towns

There is no space for A dining room in the building. Likewise, there is no lounge for guests. You are offered breakfast in your room but it appears most clients would eat in the neighbourhood where there are lots of cheap restaurants.

There was a courtyard view from my room because I specifically wanted a room at the back for quiet. The building has a history and interesting staircase. There is a garage which offers safe storage for bikes overnight

Lack of elevator, and the bathroom walls only went partway up the walls.

Great location in Tours. Easy to walk to train station and to shopping and restaurants. I would say the only drawback was that there was no elevator, so know that you have to lug your luggage up the spiral staircase. Other than that, the staff was very nice and accommodating and the bed was comfortable.

No elevator is available, so you should consider this aspect if you carry large luggage or you travel with elderly people. No tea/coffee or kettle in room, anyway this is 2-star hotel so it's acceptable.

Room is clean and quite comfortable. Although it's quite small but it's reasonable with price. Wifi is OK but it requires re-connecting too often. Not far from public transport (approx.10-minute walk from Gare de Tours, 6-minute walk from Nationale tram station), historical attractions. It's near St gatien cathredral, chateau de Tours, and basilica of St Martin. Also near many restaurants, bars, convienient store(Carefour).

The parking situation is not clear on Booking.com Parking is only available at the hotel if it's paid parking and a reservation is secured before arrival. I was assuming I had parking but they told me "no". I was fortunate to find a spot on the street although that was like winning the lottery since the adjoining neighborhood is the restaurant/shop district and parking is at a major premium. Also, there wasn't any central way to control the heating so only by leaving the window open wide could I adjust the temperature down.

This is certainly a budget hotel in the midst of everything to see and do in Tours. The restaurants couldn't get any closer to the hotel. The Cathedral and Museum are within two blocks and everything Tours has to offer is easily reached by walking. The staff was friendly and the hotel was basic and unremarkable. I don't look for luxury accommodation but any amenities are offset by the convenience of the location.

Tricky to get to by car because of one way system.

Great central location near the cathedral, bars and restaurants.

The internet connection allowed only one device at a time: phone or laptop, but not both at once. We were woken up at around 8 by renovation works, but those should be temporary.

This hotel is RIGHT in the middle of the town centre. A great place to start walks around town.

There's was no lift. The facade of the hotel was being restored - there was plastic sheeting at the front. Wifi was a bit messy-you had to log on each time the Internet shut down.,

The location was very central. Staff very friendly and helpful. Showers were good.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. I asked to swap my room because the previous person had smoked in there (it's a non smoking hotel) and it was no trouble at all. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was easy to get to and in a good location. Would have no qualms about staying here again.
