Perfect location, small hotel. Excellent friendly receptionist who gave us maps and advice. Adequate breakfast, however croissants and bread could have been much fresher.

The mattress was too hard for my personal taste. Would have preferred if the bathroom was completely closed off rather than being open at the partition. Would be good if there was an plant based milk at breakfast or vegan milk.

There is no elevator. My room was at the 4th floor, and it was a bit difficult to lift my heavy luggage up there on my own. The breakfast was below average, and one is asked to opt for it the day before, specifying the hour one intends to have breakfast.

The property is situated near both city center and train station. The room was very clean and quiet with a view of the Saint Jean church nearby. The reception is open all day long and it was possible to leave my luggage for c. 8 hours after check-out which was very convenient.

The staff were very nice and helpful and helped me with my bag upstairs (no lift!). Room was at the back of the hotel and quiet.

My husband and I are both tall (my husband is 6 foot, 5 inches), and we didn't fit on the full-size bed, so we had a terrible night's sleep!

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were absolutely lovely. It's in a great location, too, between the old town and the rail station.

Room was quite small (although nice big bed) but fairly typical for a city centre hotel, and unusual bathroom that was more like a cupboard! Had to keep window closed at night even though it was warm due to the traffic noise, but couldn’t be helped. Paid parking was available right outside the hotel but it was difficult to work out the time restrictions and whether we needed to move the car (not the hotel’s fault, but just a heads up for future guests).

Friendly staff, the lady at check-in was very helpful (even with the language difference!), she kindly arranged for a breakfast tray to be put in our room the night before an early morning start as we were going out before they served breakfast, which was great. The room was spotlessly clean for our whole stay. Location was good for walking to the city centre or down to the river.

The room was very small, but since I was alone it didn't matter. The bathroom was very small too, but it had everything needed.

Good location between train station and town centre and literally 3 mins from the tram stop. Typical French breakfast with croissant and baguette with butter and jam (cheese, ham and yogurt also available). Friendly staff who offered to take my suitcase up the four flights of stairs and kept my luggage on the day of departure.

The bathroom is small - especially sitting on the toilet is tricky. Good size shower and water pressure ok. I missed tea/coffee making facilities.

Excellent location to explore Caen. Very helpful staff and quiet room. Good breakfast got me ready for the day. Bed is large and very comfortable.

I can't actually think about anything bad. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but this information is really explicit from the beginning, both on the website and in the confirmation of the reservation.

The hotel is great: really well located, near the train station and the city center; the staff is lovely and really helpful; the room had a nice size and it was well organized; and the breakfast was also pretty good.

Hosts are extremely helpful. We arrived a little early; they saw us and opened up. Lighting excellent. Spacious bathroom. Good breakfast, fresh baguette and croissants. Safe car park. Tasteful, not fancy but clean and stylish. Great location, central but quiet. Would stay again any time.

The bathroom in the room is properly in the room. There is no a complete wall, the top is missing, that divide the two rooms. You can understand the privacy leakage.

Close to the city centre with free parking slot in front of the entrance. The environment is easy but good looking
