The receptionist was very rude to us and to other people from our group who stayed at the hotel. She couldn't care less about us as guests of the hotel. Also we arrived late and around 22:00 the hotel restaurant was not able to offer any food even for the room service. Not even a sandwich! The wifi was not working well either. In spa area neither sauna nor hammam was hot. Basically for the price this hotel is chagring, it is quite overpriced for the service level.

The hotel has been updated but is still rather basic. The view is of another block like building which spoils the river view.

The staff, Emma in particular were very friendly and helpful. The hotel as a whole, like the town seemed to be rather 70s without the retro chic!

The trendy decorations were not restful. Carpets were very OTT. Room furniture looked as if it was from Ikea. No safe in room.

Good location near restaurants and shops.

The Staff was very helpful in directing us to a good restaurant. The place was clean and well kept. The rooms were quiet.

Car park costs 12,50 for one night Keycard of the room didn't work, then the man from the check-in desk was not easy to find anymore. Breakfast was a mess. There had be a big group earlier that morning and the staff for the breakfasf was not sufficient to serve all the other geusts and clean up.

Easy to find, check in open till late at night Indoor parking

Charges for use of swimming pool. Expensive breakfast offer.

Friendly, helpful staff and good off-road parking facilities at a reasonable cost. Very close to restaurants and old town.

Good location with the bonus of good parking within the hotel. As with all Mecure, the rooms spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The added attraction to this hotel was air conditioning in the room, a positive during the heatwave we experienced. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast the following day exceptional. We used the swimming pool which was in the bowels of the hotel. An odd set up with no changing area as such, but as my husband and I were the only ones using it, it was perfect!

The paid-for parking is in a very tight, but secure, inner courtyard. Free parking is available on street outside but only from the evening till 6/7am in morning when it becomes payable too!

First class, professional, polite and friendly staff. Neat and tidy city-(nearly)-centre hotel in the heart of the Vosges Mountains area. Rather strangely shaped building, but OK when you've figured-out your way around. Rooms are standard Mercure-chain quality, with comfortable beds and everything spic & span clean. Breakfast is excellent and the main staff even better (merci, Mme Denese). Evening meals can be taken on the outdoor terrace overlooking a section of the Meuse river. Evening menu is a bit limited, although what we had was well prepared and presented. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, all within no more than 15 mins walk, if variety is wanted.
