Ate in the restaurant and food was ok but not the usually high standard of a french restaurant. No outdoor table service for drinks apart from bringing out wine - had to pour own (no real hardship) but this meant if you wanted more going back to bar and ordering

Liked the terrace, the location of the hotel, the view, the staff, the jacuzzi and the room

Expensive hotel. We were charged 9euro for 2 coffees that had a thimble equivalent of coffee. The restaurant service was excellent by some staff but ordinary by others therefore consistency is needed. Location is difficult to get to. For a 4 star, we expect tea/coffee making and and a fridge in the room but we didn’t have these. Room content was basic.

A nice view of Lyon from the restaurant. The pool and jacuzzi were a great way to end the day. Restaurant food was spectacular but expensive. Great sunset view. Good size room. Relaxing massage was 80 euro for 1 hour. Very clean.

Reception staff were very unhelpful, e.g. with getting me a table in the restaurant; I couldn't get a table for the 2nd night of my stay, so had to eat in Lyon, which I had wanted to avoid on this trip home from southern France. They only have room for 6 to 8 cars, so most guests have to park in the village - which is close by, but not very attractive to leave your car in a square in a small French hilltop settlement. pool is tiny- but luckily few people used it Rooms were not attractive at all: bare concrete walls, worn out wooden floor (not the warm, attractive type), shower with stained floor; everything looked like one of those youth camps in Switzerland I joined as a 15 year old in the 1980s; excellent bed though breakfast OK but mediocre all this in a place that is 80% more expensive than comparable but better (staff, rooms) places I enjoyed in Avignon, Aix-en provence and Dijon on the same trip.

superb view of Lyon from the terrace; tranquil location in the hills around Lyon.

But quite a distance from main city ... Not convenient without a vehicle..... n not for foreigners/ travellers on a trip to explore france/ lyon unless looking for a quite laidback getaway ... Be careful as restaurant closes by 2130 hrs although the menu is exquisite french...n there is no other option available nearby at that time/ thereafter....we got delayed one evening after sightseeing in Lyon...But the STAFF was extremely helpful to get bread wine cheese n sausages in lieu which filled self-wife n kid but was difficult for old parents (as none was warm)....Still a big Thanks to them for all they did...... Maybe a hot water kettle/ microwave (for coffee n noodles) in the room would have helped

Amazing overview of Lyon.. Small little pool and real nice jacuzzi from where my son wasn't coming out... The complete place gives a feel of a countryside with amazing location .... Very cordial and amazing staff ..especially at the restaurant and reception both... Thanks to them for fillers even after restaurant closed... Exquisite french menu for dinner and good breakfast spread. Free parking space available in front n closeby also... Amazing for couples .. n an escape from city...

We had to wait a long time for the jacuzzi - out of staffs control we know but the people did not care that we were waiting for our turn and were not interested in sharing. It was a shame so after a little while Of waiting we gave up. Very pleased with the hotel - breaksfast could be a little cheaper but none the less I think its the going rate these days and for once in a while I am sure many others could spare the cash- We were happy :) heres to many more to come 💕

Everything was to standard. We had a wonderful stay.

the restaurant was totally overpriced and the waiters at the restaurant were rude and ignored us all the time. They even forgot an appetizer. The food was not bad but not as good as the price would indicate. The shower was unusable. The shower hose was too short so you couldn't bring the shower above your head....Also missing a shower curtain so everything will be wet...

The views are beautiful. The swimmingpool was great. The bed was very comfortable.

Only shower gel provided - no shampoo or conditioner or facecloth in the bathroom. Was told we could not sit at a table in the sun for lunch as it was reserved. Also told that we could not sit on the balcony as there was a party, even though the party had finished. In the time we sat and had lunch in another area in the shade, neither the reserved table nor the party area had been used. No "sorry" either when we complained to the manager. We seemed to be an inconvenience to them, even though we were a party of five with 2 rooms. Definitely put a dampner on the weekend.

Location and view were spectacular. Rooms were sparse but comfortable

We ended up with one of the rooms without views of Lyon, but instead a view of a tree and the garden bistro. Most rooms overlooked Lyon. Also being in direct line with the outdoor bistro made for a noisy night on Friday night.

Staff exceptionally helpful. Beautiful location (taxi is €35 roughly from Lyon train station). Beds comfortably and good sized rooms. Spa and pool happily situated and the spa is the perfect spot when its raining (its undercover).

The breakfasts were the weak link. In three days, the egg cooking machine was not turned on, and when switched on, took too long to reach sufficient temp. to cook eggs. The quality of the food was poor, with the same increasingly blackening bananas on offer every day, for example.

The location afforded a wonderful overview of Lyon from up high. It was less than 15 minutes away from the CBD, shorter than in my own home town in Australia.
