Sadly, my room was poorly soundproofed. I had a room towards the back, so traffic was not an issue. A big issue is that you can hear the noisy neighbors and mindless travelers on the halls quite well, doors banging, showering, talking etc. Also, the lift has an annoying bell-one upon reading the level. Sometimes, I resorted to sleep with noise-cancelling headphones. I am aware this is hard to change, but one solution would be if the staff would make people aware to act appropriate upon check in and putting up signs.

A good place to stay, in a vibrant neighborhood. Near transport, culture, food and bars. I do absolutely prefer this area to the more touristy places. The place is exceptionally clean - awesome. The staff very friendly and always helpful. Rooms are simple and nice, without unnecessary stuff (which I prefer), with everything a traveller could need.

The noise we could hear from other rooms depended on how considerate the neighbors were. Saturday night for example it got louder and also one of the mornings we could hear almost everything from the bathroom of one of our neigbhour's. Nothing too bad though.

Excellent location and value for money for a city escape when using Gare du Nord. We walked from and to the station and as our train left very late we could store our luggage and pick them up right before heading to the station. Very convenient location for going everywhere else in the city too. Staff was always friendly and the room was small but for a city escape in Paris we didn't pack much and didn't spend too much time in the room. The view was in the internal side of the building, so technically quite Parisian, we didn't see the street but also didn't have any of the noise from it either.

I can’t think of anything.

We had a triple room and it was larger than we expected, with a small separate room for the thrid person and quite spacious main room with a table and a kettle. There was a balcony too and a nice view to the street. The street is busy but the room was not noisy. There are a lot of restaurants and cafés to have breakfast in the vicinity. It is close to all sightseeing places and a stone thrown from Gare de l’Est. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage befor chekin time and after the checkout.

In general the prices in Paris are very high. The sound isolation to the corridor was bad. And other guests didn’t pay attention to the noisy doors.

The rooms were small.

The hotel was very close to Gare Du Nord. We were able to walk to the hotel. The rooms were small but comfortable with everything one needed. The staff was friendly. It was easy to walk to all the “must see” locations or to take the metro. It was a lot of walking but very enjoyable.

This is my second time at this hotel, it's a great location near Canal Saint Martin with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The room are clean, staff is nice and the price is reasonable.

Work on the road outside was in progress during our visit, so unavoidable noise. Friday night noise was disruptive but calmer the following weekend nights. It is a busy road so expected some noise.

A little bit claustrophobic showers are not the best thing in this hotel. It's also sometimes hard to find the hotel at night, because the sides of the porch only say "hotel" without it's name.

I really liked the location of this hotel. Haven't used much of the facilities, but the ones they had were clean, nice and did not smell old or bad.
