Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainIt wasnt comfortable. The bathroom was a cabin and smelled bad. My room was near the highway so it was noisy at night and the breakfast was overbooked and very basic. If you travel with low budget its ok. A place just to sleep.
It was a cheap option for Paris. 24h reception. They change your towel and sheets everyday if you want.

United KingdomThe nearest metro that linked to the main routes for the city centre was a 15 minute walk. Bus 95 stops opposite the hotel under the bridge which is much closer but it feels busier but gives the option to see more of the city as you travel compared to the metro. Outside the hotel under the bridge was a lot of groups of men which felt edgy when walking late at night with a young child. The breakfast was basic and not a lot of it, ran out of most things- we ate there our first morning and chose to eat whilst out the following 2 mornings. Lifts were slow, although there are 3 for the volume of people and size of hotel it didn’t feel enough.
The hotel was great to use as a base for the money paid. 3 nights cost £181 for 2 adults and 1 child The beds were comfortable and the room clean Plenty of options for snacks/drinks from the lobby vending machines

Breakfast is simple and good. Hotel rooms were ok. It's same routine ibis budget style.

Location is close to metro stations, so it was easy to get to the city center.

United KingdomThe staff were rude. If you have paid for breakfast, be warned, they tell you that it’s only for the names guests and any additional - such as children are to be paid for. We didn’t pay - they only asked for our room number at breakfast even though I was fine as my child didn’t eat!
The property was easy to find. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Basic. But you get what you pay for. Easy to get to from the Metro. We preferred to get off at Garibaldi as the walk from there was more pleasant than from the stop before. Breakfast is basic but fine - does get busy though so early starts are better.

SwedenThere was no elevator from the parking lot to the floors, and despite the heavy rain and my child who was sleeping, we had to go from the parking lot to the street and then to the reservation!! It smells very, very bad. The washroom was in the room next to the beds

United KingdomThe walls must be paper thin, it was really noisy till midnight and the noise started again at 6am. You can hear every door banging, people talking and moving around the apartmant. It was disappointing as we couldnt sleep properly. The toilet has a damp smell, the shower was not attached properly.
It was easy to travel to and from, the beds were comfortable for the money we paid. The breakfast I paid for my son was ok for the price too.
