Absolutely no sound isolation: you hear the smallest noise across the entire house (please note that I'm not an hypersensitive person at all). Wood staircases are very dangerous for children and elder people. They also generate a lot of noise, even if you don't wear shoes, which means if you need to go to the toilet during the night you will wake up the entire house. I must say the sound problem is within the house only. We didn't hear anything from our neighbors. The dish washing machine was not working.

The house is very close to Dinan, about 3min walk until the harbor, 13min walk up to the city center. All was clean and comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped. Messages were timely and complete. Parking slot inside the house has only 2 slots, but is very convenient (if the city is not in a busy day, you will find free parking outside). The house is spread across 3 levels: ground level with kitchen and TV room (sofa bed), 1st floor has one double room, one toilet and one bathroom, and 2nd floor has the room with one double bed and a single bed. Garden is closed, perfect for who has animals. Host was kind at all times and I found very kind that there was charbon for the barbecue left for us, even if we didn't use it.

Very nice gite not far from the river side area and restaurants. Short walk into the main town through medieval streets. Great location. Facilities all there for an extended stay( we were only there 1 night but would make a good base.

The outside area was strewn with children’s toys and a little messy. The property is old and very creaky. The bedding could do with replacing.

The location was perfect. The outside space was nice in the sunshine. We had everything we needed. Entering the property was easy.

Slightly cramped inside eating area. But with so many fab restaurants nearby it didn't really matter.

My husband has 2 new knees & hips so steps up to the gite from the road were a challenge for him.

Very good value for money and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Host helpful when contacted. Our dog settled well. Quiet at night. Dinan port only 3 minute walk for restaurants.

Being a refurbished old house (2 floors), the isolation is not so good- you could hear every step taken upstairs.

Perfect location, above the old port, beautiful perspective over La Rance, small garden in front of the house. All basic supplies that you need, plus some treats😉. Good comunication with Natalie.

The property is beautiful and ideally located to explore Dinan. It was immaculately clean and super well equipped.

There are quite a few steps to reach the property but as long as you are prepared for this it is fine.

Lovely Gite in a beautiful location. Nathalie was very helpful. The accomodation was comfortable and warm and we had everything we needed. There were some lovely additional details like sweets for the children and Christmas decorations. I would definitely visit again and recommend.

Stop over stay for onward travels. nice spacious property with nice decorations. we loved the Christmas decorations and the little snacks and basics left for us. lovely spacious place and amazing value for money. would definitely stay again for longer.
