    Everything was fine.

Angelique was very pleasant and helpful. She was new to working at the Golden Tulip and went out of her way to help us with whatever we needed. She helped us at the business center computer because the train workers were on strike and we had to take an Air France flight from Perpignan to Paris.

more like a wish than a negative remark - it would have been nice to be able to go to gym early in the morning (before breakfast), but it was open only since 10 am. Similarly, a dryer in the bathroom (to dry your staff after visiting a sauna) could be handy.

The hotel is quite spacious and, best of all, it has a sauna and a gym. Further, it's 10 minutes away from the beach which was great to have a walk by even during a winter visit. The restaurant was very good, wine selection as well.

The rooms near the elevator arent isolated that well, that the sound wouldnt be heared. I had to change room, and had to insist, as the concierge told me, the nois would stop around 23:30... what was inacceptable. The room change was smooth.

The Sauna / Fitness and Swimming Pool are nice, even its not that big, as it looks in the pictures.

The breakfast you need to reserve in advance, otherwise you will pay and it is expensive. The staff was not so nice. They charge a lot if you want to have the rooms to the sea, but it is not worth it as the sea is not close.

The breakfast is nice, rooms are comfortable and clean, location is very good. The parking is charged, but you do not need - it is possible to park on the street close by.

Room price over priced for what it is, no fridge in the room had to bin our yogurts away, no tea/coffee in the room 4 star hotel have this in every room but not here, No black out curtains. Shower head you need to hold to have a shower. Manager did nothing she said it's not a deluxe room. And gave a complimentary tea or coffee, I didn't want it I still paid a lot for this room.I have over paid for this hotel. Pool was closed for 3 days. Mu stay was 3 nights.

Think the location was nice, but still we had to take metro and bus to the hotel. Nice port nice for family and kids to walk to. Pool was closed for 3 days for photo shooting, wasn't informed my kid wanted to swim but we couldn't. Had no tea/coffee in the room, no fridge so my child's drinks and yogurt were binned. Light coming through the curtains no black out. Shower head you need to hold in your hand does hold. Reported all this manager told me it's the supreme room not deluxe room. Was over charged for the room for sure big disappointment from her. And all she did was give us a complimentary drink or tea. Wow really that did nothing apart from a big big disappointment. For a 4 star hotel this is not right!

Problems with the hot water supply, not always available when required in the evening. Hotel positioned in an unattractive area although good views to the sea and Boreley Park Hippodrome from some rooms. We had a logistical reason for picking the location which worked for our situation, would have been disappointed if staying purely for leisure/holiday. Overall I would say this is really a business hotel several evenings corporate events were going on. Staff efficient and polite, but no real feel of a "holiday" hotel, the only real gripe is the price over 200 Euros a night for a slightly better than budget hotel, still it is the South of France

The rooms were in a reasonable state as regards "wear and tear" and again reasonably comfortable, the overall standard was similar to a premium British budget hotel.

We were given some misinformation about laundry services which resulted in our clothing sitting wet in a bag for several days. There is no laundry service on weekends! You are warned.

The breakfast was fantastic, staff were great although we were given some misinformation regarding laundry that caused us some trouble. Location is fantastic, short walk to transit to downtown, and even better a short walk to the beach! (We never used the pool or spa.) The hotel is right beside Borely Park, which is lovely to walk through; make sure to bring some carrot sticks for the nutria!

The jacuzzi wasn't available for the entire week we were there, but it really didn't spoil the experience at all.

Perfect location right next to Borley Park, easy stroll to the beach. Plenty of street parking available, though the hotel has a car park in the basement alwhich costs €15 per night. Wonderful buffet breakfast includingNespresso coffee.the pool is lovely and the easy supply of towels for the gym and pool made the experience even better. Sauna and steam room were right next to the gym and pool for those who desire a little more heat. Perfect hotel for seeing the sights of Marseille.

The availibility with public traffic is not the best, especially on the weekend, so the location is for city visit not the best choice. The furniture in the bathroom is somewhat damaged, the shower head was also damaged and would need to be replaced. Althoug we had no problems, would think the pool size is too small for such a big hotel.

Friendly and helpful personnel, nice terrace and a good view to the see (we found the upgrade for 20 EUR per night justified) clean and roomy apartment and bathroom, strand about 10 mins walk distance. We had only dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent.

WiFi logs you out continuously. Location a bit off the beaten track and a long walk from main center of town though there are buses nearby. The shower has a useless glass divider that did absolutely nothing to prevent the water spraying all over the place and flooding the floor. Why it set up that way escapes me. You pretty much have to use the nozzle handheld or you'll need all your towels to soak up the floor.

Room was very comfortable and breakfast buffet excellent. Bar menu had perhaps the best chicken club sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. Certainly the best sandwich I've had in memory. Location not so remote that you can't get an Uber or Taxi but there can be a bit of a wait. Restaurant has limited menu but all quite good choices and Salads are excellent. Deserts are sublime and deadly delicious to the eyes and palate.

The room we stayed in had a fold up bed and we hurt ourselves several times on the protruding g frame. The bar staff struggled to understand bar orders, served incorrect drinks several times and the beer barrels had been misconnected. No drinks were available after midnight in the bar for our company of friends even though there was a party for a conference until one o' clock in the morning. Definitely a case of double standards

On the whole the staff were helpful and the location was good for the best of Marseille .

Someone came into our room at 4:30am. Naturally they woke us up and we couldn't get back to sleep after such a shock. The hotel staff were apologetic, saying there had been a mix-up on the computer, but they couldn't give us a reduction on the rate. They did waive the parking fee and offered us a drink, which we were not able to take as we had to leave for airport. Premier Inn in England would have given us the night free without any questions after such a shocking event, so we were very disappointed that this hotel could not reduce the rate at all.

Location was good for the sea, but a long way from the old port.

Horrendous outlook from our room at the rear of the hotel. Huge roundabout, trucks over night and noise .This wasn't mentioned in any of the booking.com information who completly mis represented the quality and outlook of this hotel with their photagraphs and description.....when I complained they advised me it was not their responsibility but the hotels who advertise on their site..!!!!! Finally moved after 3 nights of no sleep as the hotel was full !! Charged €30 per night extra to move to a better room which apparently was discounted !!! Originally booked a non refundable room option on the details of the hotel, but never again.. !!!! No refund was offered which if the details on bookings.com were correct I would understand, but on this occasion we were 100% mis sold this hotel !!!

All the staff were very proffesional and polite .

Excellent stay … go for a room with a balcony looking out to sea and overlooking the Prado beaches … quiet, clean, good air-con - just as well as it was 35C during our stay .. Lidl just up the road for provisions - boulangerie+ fruit stall by the roundabout … Nespresso in the room to make tea/coffee...lots of good places to eat by the big wheel … we recommend walking/getting the bus to Point Rouge hand taking the ferry round to Marseille old port. English TV channels are only news channels. Can have a bit more variety. Wifi signal kept disconnecting

Very pleasant stay, would love to return. The staff were extremely helpful, and friendly. One of the staff helped us to find our way to Joliette when we were a bit lost. Breakfast was excellent. Can't fault anything!!

Breakfast was very expensive (although we didn't try it - it didn't look that amazing).

Staff where amazing and accomodated our room change with no hassle so we could have a bath instead of a showy for our baby , they also helped us book excursions by phoning/googling companies for us. The room, pool etc where lovely and overall very clean. Location was fab you can either get a taxi into the town for about 30 euros or the bus into town is also really easy! Oh and go for a walk to the park round the back there is a really nice park with a lake where you can hire out row boats! There was a lidil just up the road too which was handy

No refregirator and they say it's their policy not to provide refregirator in room ?????? shocking that how ppl can live without cold water and their own tiny food supply in room ?? Seen the whole world but this sort of policy I have never met !!

Staff both at reception and restaurant were excellent and very helpful. The location was great with a short walk to the beach. The evening meal overlooking Borley Park was fantastic.

Swimming pool is overcrowded all the time, people put their towels and walk away for many hours instead of letting other to use their sun loungers.

The location is perfect! The beach is nice and clean.

You need to connect Wi-Fi everytime you wish to serf internet.

I really recommend this great place to anyone. Located ~ 5 km from Marseille city center in nice area and just 5 minutes to sea by walking. Room is absolutely clean and well-equipped. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Big underground parking.

Really really over priced food and drink. Its almost like they are encouraging you to sample to excellent and very reasonable local restaurants and cafes. No drinks making facilities. Pool was tiny compared to the misleading photos. Lack of sunbeds.

Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Comfy bed.
