It is the first hotel we have stayed at where some guests reserve the table they want to sit at for breakfast. Other guests have to sit at the remaining, less well placed, tables.

You feel as if you are being looked after by the staff in the Golf Hotel, not just staying there.

The hotel is very elegant, yet relaxed & the staff were very friendly & helpful. I loved the high quality toiletries, even providing exfoliating gel & little extras like cotton wool buds & cotton wool cleansing pads. There is a warm boot room for ski gear. There is an outdoor lift to bring you down & back up from the lower main street level if you don’t want to walk up/ down the hill which is another nice feature.

Rooms a little small. Few options in village for evening so not great for older kids / young adults/ those wanting restaurants or après ski. Cable car connection to slopes convenient but you must be prepared for the 25 minutes it takes. Breakfast closes a little too early for a holiday hotel - it could last til 10h30 or 11h00.

Clean, bright, comfortable. Lovely views down the valley. Elegant proportions to all main reception rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, in all areas. Food good. Prices good for the region. Booking error on my part dealt with very fairly by the management.

The 15-minute hike in ski boots back from the gondola was a little much. The town van to the gondola did pick us up one day but the next day I waited 12 minutes beyond the advertised pick-up time and finally gave up and hiked.

Bed medium for comfort. Was two twins put together like a king which was excellent. View out Rm 308 awesome! Whole place looks classy. The bathroom and shower were perfect. Towel warmer great! Breakfast excellent and huge. Staff so helpful. Even dried my soaking clothes after a full day of skiing in wet snowfall. Boot and ski room nice to have.

The ‘spa and wellness center’ is a huge disappointment, one sauna and a few gym machines, that was it. If a 4 star hotel claims to have a spa, we definitely expected a bit more. Room was very basic, not what you’d expect for this price either.

Breakfast was good, nice variety. Really nice staff

The classic rooms are small, but you can manage it. I don't know about the other rooms. When you come back from ski lift you need to walk about 500 meters. There are no free shuttles to come back, only when you leave the hotel, in the morning.

Very good restaurant, gourmet. Good prices comparing to other restaurants and very good quality meals.

This is not typical hotel for those who came skiing. It seems like people there were going to thermes, which however have been closed for renovation by the moment of our visit. Rooms were small and dark (we also checked our friends’ room), with an old carpet which smell like some time ago people smoked right there. This hotel lets visitors to take dogs and cats, so if you are allergic be aware. In terms of comfort: it’s a five floor building with only one elevator for 4 persons. We used to not waste our time waiting for it rather using stairs. We have had the door to neighboring room in our chamber. Despite it was closed all the time, it did not isolate us from sounds from over there. Spa center is a little sauna (for two persons max.) and two training devices.

It’s a silent hotel with old interiors and facing the valley with the beautiful view of the Alps on the background. On the ground floor there’s small bar with fireplace. An elevator brings you down from hotel land to the city center. The telecabin to Meribel is 5 min of walking.

Attitude of the staff - some meals at the breakfast were finished and never refilled because "we don't expect more ppl today..." What about us??? "Sorry"... Spa is just a shame, you can't use the word spa for this... Check in at 16h, checkout at 10am - seriously??? Restaurant - did you book? No. Ok here's the table at the doorway for you... And I swear - half of the tables remained empty the whole night....

The nice bar in the lounge area was not in use although there was a bar downstairs in the evening. It would have been good to get a coffee, snack or drink for lunch or in the afternoon. If you don't eat at the hotel restaurant there are only one or two basic eating places in the town.

The hotel is in a good position to ski the three valleys. There is a ski bus but the lift is a short walk down the road but a walk uphill back to the hotel. The lift takes you direct to Meribel in 20 minutes. As the hotel is on a hill there is a lift at the front that takes you down to the town - really useful as ski hire shops very close. Heated boot room. Excellent staff, very helpful. Rooms very clean, comfortable and warm. Free wifi. Good breakfast. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening but I think the choice was limited. Free jacuzzi and hamman. Free parking. Pleasant stay.

1- We arrived at 17:30, and our rooms were still not ready (even though check out is supposed to be at 10) 2- First morning, no hot water to shower, so we had to inform them and wait 30mn 3- I came back at 18:00 after a long day of ski, and my room was not cleaned. They said that the cleaning ladies are overloaded. 4- During the entire weekend, which also is supposed to be high season (hotel is full and they are overloaded), there was no Manager on Duty. Every time we faced a problem, there was no one to complain to.

Top floor room was a little small, but then I did book the cheapest room and it was for just one person so it was fine. Basic spa facilities could maybe do with being updated.

The senior grumpy chambermaid was quite obvious in her body language, and should be reprimanded... Also... the outside stairs, in front of the hotel, are exceedingly dangerous. They were not cleared from icy snow, and it won't be long till anyone gets hurt and... sue the Golf hotel !

The welcome of the Reception Manager Mrs Sylvie Maggioni, first on email, ahead of our arrival, then meeting her in person, was exceptional. Furthermore, the wonderful young lady Maelene, in charge of breakfast, is a rare gem for the owners & should be promoted! Our lovely bartender Mathieu warmed our winter hearts too...!

The restaurant is terrible. Poor breakfast. No cheese-omelette. I think this hotel will become 5* stars hotel if the CEO will fire the chef cuz salad was not fresh!!

Typical local attitude. Shower is awful if over 6ft tall. No tea/coffee in room. Pillows bad.

Less than 5min walk to Olympic lift (where you can also keep your ski's). Lift takes 20mins to get to Meribel. Jacuzzi/steam room is nice when you come back. Large bedroom. Large bed. Breakfast ok.

My room was too small for the money and looked out on to a tin roof. It was the smallest double room you'll ever see

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location suited me perfectly and the bar was great for a beer in front of the fire in the evening.

Being able to hit the steam room and jacuzzi after boarding all day! Great food, very helpful, ski room for kit drying, close to Olympe, beautiful building.

taxis are extremely expensive in the area so car rental can be a money saver. As an exmple we rented a car for € 50 per day whilst the standard fare in a taxi is € 50 one way to Meribel Centre - a journey of about 25 mins or 16 km.

The room had a lovely view up the valley. Staff were most helpful both in Reception and the restaurant which proved to be some of the best food in Brides les Bain. Finally room rates were one third of the rate in Meribel

Internal access to ski room, I think the hotel can access from their store room but not having to go round outside to the room would make a big difference.

Brides-les-Bains isn't as nice as the resort villages. The room could use more conveniences like mini-frig, microwave and coffee maker.

Great value for the price. Breakfast was included. Easy access to the gondola to Meribel and bus to the train station. The Golf is nice, clean, and my 3-person room was comfortable. I'm glad I upgraded the room size.
