The room was really very small. We couldn't park in the hotel car park because of Royal De Luxe street show taking place in Nantes, however the hotel didn't tell me this until I asked them. They suggested another car park, but when we got there access was closed. When we eventually managed to find a car park and walked to the hotel with our luggage, ironically there were notices about the access in the hotel lifts! Bit late....

Nice furnishings and comfortable bed. Clean and well located, walkable distance to everything in town.

Location. Shower and fact there was a separate toilet. Breakfast buffet had unusual selection ie carrot cake, banana bread and there was fresh grapefruit which I love!

Feels more 3* rather than 4. Very tight parking, must be very challenging for large cars. Gym, skip it and go for a run outside.

The parking lot of the hotel is hard to find.

I want to report an excellent staff, I dont know her name. She was on duty when I arrived at the hotel on 6 August afternoon around 6 pm. My family was very tired because we couldn't find how to drive to the hotel. So we park outside on the road and drag big lagguages to the hotel. When we finished check-in, she gave me directions and code to the parking entrance. However, I still lost according to my GPS map. So I returned to the hotel and asked her for help to drive with me again to find the parking lot. She was very kind and understood my anxiety. She used her map to show me the way, taught me how to access the area, and finally, we got the parking lot. She is the best helper to me. I recommend awarding her as the best stuff of August.

Hotel parking is complicated to reach and still €15/ day. Rooms are quite small. I booked for 2 people, bathroom sink v small and v little wardrobe space.

Lack of storage in bedroom, 4 coat hangers in small wardrobe, no drawer storage. Not really adequate for 3 night stay. WC separate from bathroom without hand wash facilities.

Took 1.5 hrs to find it by car! Really difficult as in middle of pedestrianised zone and GPS doesn’t understand vehicle entrance and exit points. Nearly aborted our stay! Couldn’t use shower as over very deep bath with small area to climb in. Anyone with mobility issues would have difficulties. Breakfast charge but high for what was available.

the fridge wasn’t working. I didn’t complain At reception so I assume they didn’t know. there was used dishes and left over food left outside bedroom doors on our floor for nearly two days.

It was very warm in the room, and the management refused to activate the airconditioning, so only warm ‘air’. I was forced to sleep with the balcony door open, however the centre of Nantes is very noisy during the nights … so the sleep was far from good.

Overall a nice hotel, with friendly staff. Room request was perfectly planned.

Young male receptionist was very unhelpful when we tried to book a taxi next morning. Asked for a taxi at 08.10hrs for 08.30hrs. At 08.40hrs expedited it and was told it was coming. Following two further queries as to its whereabouts we were told that they wouldn't pick us up as destination was too close. At no point did anyone actively come and tell us this. Then we were told it was going to come and then we were told that it wasn't. This was completely unacceptable and I have never seen such poor shambolic communications from a hotel reception in the many years I have travelled the globe. I would not use this hotel again because of the way in which we were treated over something so simple which is ashame.

Very nice hotel in a great location close to plenty of amenities. Rooms were of a good size for a city centre hotel and shower was great. Clean and comfortable with good wifi. Didn't have breakfast or use the dining facilities so can't comment on that.

A little over-priced but location is every thing.

The perfect location - smack bang in the middle of the old city. Easy to explore this wonderful city from the hotel with bars, shops and restaurants galore close by. Friendly staff and on-site parking.

Carpet and curtains had some coffee stains on them. Hotel requires 200 EUR deposit booked on a credit card (i suppose for a bar service?)

Location is great and very central, lots to see and do around. We were kindly upgraded (thanks to receptionist) to privilege room which was spacious and had everything needed for a short stay. Comfortable bed and pillow. Nuxe products in bathroom is a lovely touch.
