Couldn’t find the tourist information centre. May be a bit difficult for parking.

Close to train station. Friendly staff. Close to car rental. Excellent facilities for the money. Nice breakfast.

The room did not have a real window, only a ceiling window, which you couldn't open. No air condition. Thus the air in the room quite stuffy.

Good location - in walking distance to the bus/train station, perfect if you are heading to Le Mont Saint Michel next day.

Never could get connected to the WiFi with the worlds longest WiFi code. The elevator is really only useful for the luggage - we would put our youngest in there with the luggage and then run down the stairs.

A good deal of a hotel close to the Rennes train station. We had a tour starting from there and booked a family room for one night to avoid travel delays on the day of departure. The family room was two separate rooms across the hallway with a separate door we could keep closed to listen for the kids. The showers were roomy enough for 6’ tall person. The front desk spoke limited English but we were able to get by with our son’s 3 years of high school French.

The room is not well equipped, there is only this soap/shampoo and a plastic cup.

The location is excellent. A block away from the train station and commerce. Surrounded by nice restaurants, ate some good crêpes. The staff was nice, I even added two more days for some issues that I encountered, and asked for other stuff, they provided and delivered well.

Very hot, no markings to warn one of the step going in and out of reception, no good for wheelchairs etc. Being disabled - would like to see grab rails by the shower and bath and a bath mat. Female staff in reception - scruffy! More information in french/english on buses and maps to help tourists navigate the city. did not like going down back streets to the Republique as I was told a better/safer route and more direct maybe a little longer but worth it.

First visit - given directions to the Republique (Bus stop)- the long way round (THROUGH BACK STREETS) and one could easily be lost - easier to catch the bus at the Rail/Bus station Second visit - easier to find my way around as a passenger (French) showed me an easier safer walking route) Bedrooms clean, bathroom cleans.

A bit much to call it a dislike but should note.............. Couldn't be avoided, but parking requires careful driving skills - but all the other guests recognised this and were cooperative.

Parking was advertised, but there are only 3 parking spaces at the hotel. Breakfast looked rather limited and not good value.

The location was useful for our trip planning -easy access. The guy on the front desk worked very calmly, despite being the sole staff member on duty and under pressure from numerous guests.

Does the job for an overnight stay - but wouldn't book for a trip with my wife, as doesn't have the comforts of a bigger hotel. No air-con, so can be a bit more uncomfortable in the warmer summer months.

I've used this hotel a few times now on motorbike trips. Secure private parking, if booked in advance. Short walk to main bar and restaurant area - but away from general noise at night. Good value for an easy overnight stay.

    see above.

Basic room with comfortable bed. No aircon or tea\coffee making facilities. Ask for rear facing room as our first night was abismal due to road and local nutters yelling from midnight to 5 AM. Did have the all important Parking facilities and an adequate continental Breakfast. Would stay in republic district next time where it is more central to the Rennes Buzz without so many homeless crazies keeping you awake.

The price of the breakfast was a bit expensive at 9.50€, especially if you only want coffee and a croissant. It was only afterwards we saw that you can have an express breakfast cheaper, but weren't given the option when booking. Still wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel

Friendly staff, nice restaurant and very convenient for train station and theatres. We managed to reserve parking for 7€ which was a welcome bonus.
