Wonderful rural location with lovely garden. The room was in the eaves and had beams so full of character. Good sized bathroom with a bath, shower head and hairdryer. We sat out in the evening on the balcony enjoyed the peace and view. Didnt want to leave

Warm and friendly staff, superb setting, small village location, friendly local shop. Ideal for Boulogne, Hardelot and Le Touquet. Breakfast was excellent continental style with very, very good coffee. But the extremely friendly staff really made the overnight stay special - much nicer than a generic Ibis. Real people running their own farm type B&B.

The room we had (5) was pretty tired in terms of decor, furnishings and cleanliness. One example is that a fridge doubles as one of the bedside cabinets. If the rooms were refurbished, this would be an absolutely excellent place.

Beautiful village and the accommodation is in a lovely building. The owners were very friendly.

Lovely Domaine in the middle of the countryside. After a long drive on the way back to the UK, the staff couldn't have done more for us. Rooms were spot on and a really good local breakfast. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, however the are a really good selection in Montreiul, which is a good visit on its own.

Ask for a cot when booked, plus e mailed reception. Was not informed until arrival that there was no cot for a 20 month infant. Consequently, had a very difficult night with little sleep trying to barracade infant into a child's bed!! Didn't find the staff particularly helpful and was confronted by indifference when booking out! Whenever people next door moved about it made the floor in our room creak and at times the bed vibrated!!

Nothing I didn't like. Perfect for what we needed. It's 2 stars so not luxury but much nicer than expected for this category of hotel. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting. Very tranquil. Good option for visiting Montreuil or just looking for a stopover 55 mins south of Calais on the A16. I loved the little bench outside the upper floor rooms where you can sit with a glass of wine and unwind. You can buy from a small selection of nice wines from the bar below. Family rooms have bunk beds. Kids loved them.

The place is across the road from a cattle farm, which might not suit everyone. Present proprietors are new (1 month), and have not yet sorted out every detail of the rooms, though it's far from scruffy. Name has changed from Fief d'Hérambault to Le Domaine d'Hérambault recently, but signs haven't yet been altered. Local road works near Montreuil have closed the obvious route, but it is in the village next to a big white chateau.

They offer a set meal with no menu choices for17€. For an amuse-geule, carbonade de boeuf with potatoes (large portions) cheese (4 locally sourced varieties) and simple ice cream, that's very inexpensive. They make a point of using local suppliers, some in the village. Wine nice, but bottles only at about average restaurant prices. Free parking good and secure, and they have a local produce shop on site which seemed popular with other residents. Great breakfast. General shop in village sells picnic essentials and is open Sunday morning. Street name signs in village helpful. Close to IEC Wine Society depot in Montreuil and the motorway.
